New York, NY, June 17, 2015 - "Guys Choice 2015," co-hosted by Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, saw Salma Hayek and Chris Pratt taking home top honors at its June 6 taping. The Academy Award(R)-nominated Hayek accepted the "Decade of Hotness" honor with a heartfelt speech while Hollywood leading-man Pratt took home the "Guy of the Year" award with a series of hilarious and energetic thank-yous. "Guys Choice" premieres Thursday, June 18 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Spike.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson accepted the special "Hero" tribute from the servicemen and servicewomen in the audience, who joined him on stage in a touching moment of mutual admiration. Johnson then announced that he had joined forces with Spike TV and Casey Patterson Entertainment to create the "ROCK THE TROOPS" music and entertainment event to celebrate and entertain deployed US Troops serving overseas. "ROCK THE TROOPS" will bow on Veterans Day 2016.
Jam-packed with mantastic moments, "Guys Choice" also featured "G.O.A.T." (Greatest Of All Time) award-winner LL COOL J electrifying the crowd with a performance of his most memorable hits from 30 years at the pinnacle of hip hop, the undeniable chemistry of co-hosts Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, a humbled Sir Ben Kingsley kissing his coveted "Brass Balls" trophy, and myriad appearances from A-list celebrities including Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zoe Saldana, Robert De Niro, David Spade, Rachel McAdams, Mary J. Blige, and many more.
