Live Tour de France Coverage Begins on Sat., July 4 on NBCSN
STAMFORD, Conn. - June 22, 2015 - NBC Sports Group's coverage of the 102nd Tour de France begins with the Tour de France Preview Show hosted by Todd Harris this Wednesday, June 24, at 10 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The show will take an in-depth look at the Tour de France, the world's most prestigious cycling event, featuring interviews with past Tour de France winner Alberto Contador (2007, 2009); Tejay Van Garderen, who placed fifth in the 2012 and 2014 Tour de France; 2013 Tour de France runner up and 2014 Giro d'Italia winner Nairo Quintana; 2014 Criterium du Dauphine winner and Current USA National Time Trial Champion Andrew Talanksy; 25-time Tour de France stage winner Mark Cavendish; and Fabian Cancellara, who has 28 Tour de France yellow jerseys to his name, the most of any active rider. In addition, the program features an overview of the race route, profiles of competing cyclists, and historical moments.
NBC Sports Group is the exclusive rights holder of Tour de France coverage in the U.S. and will provide television coverage on NBC and NBCSN. Daily live coverage of the Tour de France begins Saturday, July 4, at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN with Stage 1, and continues each night with the Tour Primetime show featuring a look at the day's most compelling action with new analysis, interviews, and updates. Live coverage culminates with the final stage Sunday, July 26, at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN.
