TWO MEN FOUNDED DEATH ROW RECORDS ONE WOMAN SAW IT ALL AND IS SHARING HER SECRETS WITH THE WORLD

THINKFACTORY MEDIA PARTNERS WITH HIP HOP LEGEND, MICHEL'LE TO REVEAL HER UNTOLD STORY FROM THE STREETS OF COMPTON

Beverly Hills, CA (Oct. 5, 2015) - Platinum recording artist, Michel'le, has exclusively partnered with Thinkfactory Media to reveal the untold story of her life, which transformed West Coast Hip-Hop as we know it today. Girl From the Hood (working title), a scripted television movie, will re-team Michel'le and Thinkfactory Media, having previously collaborated on TV Ones's hit series, R&B Divas LA. In addition to the scripted project, Thinkfactory Media and Michel'le are collaborating on a documentary detailing her life.

Michel'le's journey is one of fame, abuse and ultimately, survival and triumph. She is ready to reveal the truth behind it all by going public with her story. Founded in 1991 by Dr. Dre and Suge Knight, Death Row Records shepherded the careers of legendary artists like Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur. Michel'le was at the center of it all, and not just through the success of her music. Having had children with both Dre and Suge, Michel'le became a victim of abuse in both relationships. The most powerful men in West Coast gangsta rap nearly destroyed her, but through unbeatable odds Michel'le emerged as a strong, powerful female voice. Her story has yet to be told... until now.

"Michel'le is one of the most talented, fearless women I have ever met, captivating audiences both on stage and in front of the camera. The past few years of working with her have been incredible and we are thrilled she's allowing us to lower the veil to tell her inspiring inside story as no one else could," stated Adam Reed, EVP Thinkfactory Media. "Michel'le's conviction for life and raw honesty deserves to be shared with the world, and we are honored to give her story justice."

"I am so excited about my partnership with Thinkfactory Media. For many years I was unwilling to share my personal experiences. I am now ready to open up about my career, relationships and family," stated Michel'le Toussant. "I am confident that Thinkfactory Media will give an accurate depiction of my life and this tumultuous yet amazing journey I've been on."

This scripted television movie follows Thinkfactory Media's big hit Texas Rising, which was History's highest rated program in two years, as well as being the second highest rated basic cable drama series premiere of 2015 in total viewers. They've had a banner 2014-15 season, with the Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars franchise becoming an international sensation and bringing in record-breaking numbers for WE tv, followed by the success of their unscripted series Queens of Drama, which was one of the top rated new series on POP, and Hollywood Divas is the #1 show on TV One. Even more recently, the Q4 premiere of Vet School on Nat Geo Wild was the most watched series launch in network history!
