truTV Greenlights "Super Into" Hosted by Kevin Pereira
Guest stars include: Michelle Rodriguez, Rob Corddry, Kesha, and more
truTV has given the greenlight to Super Into, a series that asks our favorite celebrities to take us inside their private passions.
Super Into will launch October 26 and is hosted by Kevin Pereira. Each half-hour asks our favorite celebrities to take us inside their private passions - from Rob Corddry and astronomy, including a ride on a zero gravity plane, to Diablo Cody and rollercoasters. This fun and raucous ride not only lets viewers see how each celeb geeks out on everything from sneakers to marijuana to motorcycles, but each episode is packed with short animations and stylized videos that will dive even deeper into the cool history, science and psychology behind each topic. Additional guest stars include Michelle Rodriguez (motorcycles), Margaret Cho (marijuana), Kesha (animal conservation), and Nick Young (sneakers).
"This is a series for people who know what they love, are passionate about their pastimes and are not afraid to geek out on them" said Marissa Ronca, senior vice president, development and original programming for truTV. "It is the perfect addition to our expanding line up of fresh, fun programming that is resonating with our viewers."
truTV has ordered 12 episodes of the series, which is being produced by Matador (Lip Sync Battle) and Casey Patterson Entertainment. Serving as executive producers are Jay Peterson, Casey Patterson, Jerry Carita and Elaine Kavanagh.
