36-24-36 (Showtime, New!) - Delia Ephron (You've Got Mail) has set up a potential comedy at the pay channel about "the first black TV model to be featured on a major game show in 1990. Celebrity and glamour collide with sexual harassment, racism, misogyny, homophobia, bulimia and job insecurity, for the four gorgeous models on the No. 1 game show of the '90's." Said effort comes from Martin Chase Productions' Debra Martin Chase with former game show model Kathleen Bradley ("The Price Is Right") attached as a consultant. (Deadline.com)
CITIZEN FLOYD (FOX, New!) - Writer Dan Sterling and directors Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (The Interview) are set to re-team for a potential half-hour billed as "a workplace comedy with political, action and suspense elements." 20th Century Fox Television is behind the project, which has a put pilot commitment. Point Grey Pictures' James Weaver will also serve as an executive producer. (Deadline.com)
JET SET (CBS, New!) - J.P. Lavin and Chad Damiani have sold a new drama to the Eye in which "a young, rich socialite partners with a blue-collar FBI agent to pose as the new "it" couple to investigate and apprehend suspects who have hidden behind wealth and influence to escape other charges." CBS Television Studios is behind the hour with Junction Entertainment's Jon Turteltaub executive producing alongside said duo. (Deadline.com)
STILL STAR-CROSSED (ABC, New!) - Heather Mitchell ("Scandal") is developing a new drama at the Alphabet billed as a sequel to "Romeo & Juliet" and "follows the conflict between the Capulets and the Montagues in the wake of Romeo and Juliet's deaths" in 16th century Verona. Shondaland's Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers as well as The MrG Production Co.'s Michael R. Goldstein will executive produce alongside Mitchell for ABC Studios. (Deadline.com)
WHO RUNS THE STREETS OF NEW ORLEANS (FOX, New!) - Writer David Slack and director Len Wiseman are set to team for a new drama about "what happens when an enigmatic tech billionaire makes a deal with a bankrupt, dying city to provide a privately owned-and-operated police force." David Bernardi, Dennis Kim and Todd Hoffman also serve as executive producers on the project, which is based on the New York Times Magazine article of the same name. No studio was indicated. AND IN OTHER NEWS... - As expected, ABC has passed on a second season of its summer drama "The Whispers" (Deadline.com); Fernando Chien and Dichen Lachman are the latest faces set to recur on "The Last Ship" (Deadline.com); Cerina Vincent and Joe Nieves have signed on to play the parents on Disney Channel's upcoming single-camera comedy "Stuck in the Middle" (Deadline.com); Armani Jackson has been cast as a young Wes, the character portrayed by Alfred Enoch, on "How to Get Away with Murder" (THR.com); John Cho, Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Glenn Howerton will all drop by the new season of "House of Lies" (TVLine.com, TheWrap.com); Brennan Brown will recur on "Chicago Med" as "a cantankerous, irritable but brilliant neurosurgeon" (TVLine.com); and Lindsay Wagner will visit "NCIS" as Agent Ellie Bishop's mother (TVLine.com).
