HO HO HO!!!

truTV Celebrates the Holiday Season With The Ultimate Christmas Competition "Santas in the Barn"

Four-Week Special Event Series Will Air Twice a Week, Counting Down to Epic Christmas Eve Grand Finale

This winter, America will brace itself for the ultimate Christmas competition with Santas in the Barn, the search for the nation's Best Santa. In this heart-warming holiday special event, ten Santas from across the country are brought to live at the ultimate Christmas fantasy camp where they will compete in an array of over-the-top Christmas-themed challenges meant to discover who most lives the "Santa Way." While living out their Santa dreams, these would-be Kris Kringles will vote on who most exemplifies the Christmas spirit, with the last one standing winning $100,000 and the title of America's Best Santa!

Hosted by Jon Gabrus (Guy Code, The Substitute), Santas in the Barn will launch on Wednesday, December 2 at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on truTV, with episodes available across truTV's on-demand, digital and mobile platforms the day after they premiere on the network. A four-week special event, new episodes will air twice a week on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. (ET/PT), all counting down to an epic Christmas Eve grand finale. These Santa enthusiasts come from all walks of life and incorporate Christmas traditions from around the world for a holiday-inspired series like nothing you've ever seen before that is guaranteed to put a smile on anyone's face - even a Grinch!

In each episode, the Santas will face challenges showcasing their holiday skills, from chimney climbing and gift wrapping, to sleigh riding and gingerbread-house building, all while trying to prove that they are the Santa who most exemplifies the Christmas spirit. While some may be "professional" Santas in their daily lives, each challenger has been donning the big red suit and spreading holiday cheer for years, so everyone will be bringing their own set of Santa skills to give them a leg up in this extraordinary competition. In addition to the grand prize, the winning Santa will receive a donation to the charity of their choice.

truTV will air eight one-hour episodes of Santas in the Barn, produced by Half Yard Productions, part of Red Arrow Entertainment.
