Shelton Will Sing "Gonna" While Goulding to Perform "On My Mind" as the Emmy Award-Winning Series Ramps Up as the Season Winds Down
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - Nov. 30, 2015 - Coach Blake Shelton and international recording artist Ellie Goulding are set to perform on the Monday, Dec. 7 live telecast on NBC's Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice."
Shelton will sing his current and Top 5 hit single "Gonna" from his album "Bringing Back the Sunshine." Upon its release, the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 All Genre Album chart and the Billboard Country Album chart. "Gonna" is also a bonus track on "Reloaded: 20 #1 Hits," which was released in October.
Goulding, an adviser on "The Voice" during the seventh season, will sing "On My Mind" from her new album, "Delirium." The single is currently charting Top 10 on Top 40 radio.
Shelton has earned the incredible accomplishment of being the coach for four champions over the show's eight completed seasons, with the ninth season currently underway. Season-seven winner Craig Wayne Boyd follows in the footsteps of past victors Danielle Bradbery, Cassadee Pope and Jermaine Paul.
Among his many awards, Shelton is the reigning five-time Country Music Association Male Vocalist of the Year and an Entertainer of the Year winner. His most recent album, "Bringing Back the Sunshine," debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and country albums chart. "Sunshine" has already yielded the hit singles "Neon Light," "Lonely Tonight," featuring Ashley Monroe, and "Sangria," which became Shelton's 20th #1 single.

"The Voice" is television's #1 alternative series this fall in every key ratings measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
