Netflix Brings Psychological Thriller "Gypsy" to Members Worldwide

NETFLIX BRINGS PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER "GYPSY" TO MEMBERS WORLDWIDE

--10 One-Hour Episodes will premiere in 2017--

Beverly Hills, Calif., January 5, 2016 - Netflix, the world's leading Internet TV network, has ordered a 10-episode season of the one-hour psychological thriller Gypsy, a new series from Universal Television, Working Title and writer Lisa Rubin.

Gypsy follows the journey of Jean Holloway - a therapist who begins to develop dangerous and intimate relationships with the people in her patients' lives. Liza Chasin and Lisa Rubin will serve as executive producers, with Rubin also serving as writer. Rubin's additional upcoming projects include adapting best-selling novel I Was Here by Gayle Forman for New Line and adapting the novel Food Whore for DreamWorks. Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner are also executive producers. The series is set to premiere in 2017.
