APB (FOX/20th; W: David Slack; D: Len Wiseman) - Ernie Hudson has been tapped for a role on the drama pilot, about when Gideon Reed (Justin Kirk), a tech billionaire, purchases a troubled police precinct in the wake of a loved one's murder, but can this eccentric and enigmatic figure's cutting edge approach fix the broken ways of these blue blooded veterans? He'll play Ed Conrad, "a gruff, grumpy teddy bear veteran cop with the 13th Precinct" (Deadline.com)
DREAM TEAM (ABC/WBT; W: Bill Wrubel & Kari Lizer; D: Marc Buckland) - Addison Osta Smith and Betty Gilpin have been tapped roles on the single-camera comedy pilot, about champion soccer coach Marty Schumacher (Justin Long), who now has to start from scratch with a diverse group of eight-year-olds and their disparate parents. Smith will play Miley, "a fantastic soccer player who is built like a spark plug and recruited to join Schumacher's dream team"; while Gilpin is set as Robin, a cute, harried, single mom. GREAT INDOORS, THE (CBS/CTS; W: Mike Gibbons; D: Andy Ackerman) - Stephen Fry, Chris Harris and Andy Ackerman are the latest additions to the multi-camera comedy pilot, about an adventure reporter (Joel McHale) who must adapt to the times when he becomes the boss to a group of millennials in the digital department of the magazine. Fry is set as Antonio, "the charismatic founder of 'The Great Outdoors' magazine, and a world traveler, explorer and adventurer"; while Harris and Ackerman will serve as showrunner and director, respectively. LETHAL WEAPON (FOX/WBT; W: Matt Miller; D: McG) - Chandler Kinney is the latest addition to the network's small screen take on the feature franchise, about when Texas cop and former Navy SEAL Martin Riggs (Clayne Crawford) suffers the loss of his wife and baby, he moves to Los Angeles to start anew. There, he gets partnered with LAPD detective Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans, Sr.), who, having recently suffered a "minor" heart attack, must avoid any stress in his life. She'll play Riana Murtaugh, "the Murtaughs' 15-year-old daughter, a typical L.A. teenager. The only time Riana looks up from her phone is to deploy that famous Murtaugh wit at the dinner table; she will bring up anything she can to drive her parents nuts." (Deadline.com)
NO TOMORROW (The CW/CTS; W: Corinne Brinkerhoff, Scott McCabe & Tory Stanton; D: Brad Silberling) - Sarayu Blue ("Monday Mornings") has been cast in the drama pilot, about Evie (Tori Anderson), a risk-averse quality-control assessor who falls for free-spirited thrill seeker Xavier (Joshua Sasse) only to find out he lives his life that way because he believes the apocalypse is coming. She's on board as Kareema, "one of the manager's 'too-hip' co-workers." (Deadline.com)
NOTORIOUS (ABC/ABCS/Sony; W: Allie Hagan & Josh Berman; D: Michael Engler) - Kevin Zegers ("Gracepoint") is the latest addition to the drama pilot, which follows the professional and personal relationship between charismatic attorney Jake Gregorian (Daniel Sunjata) and powerhouse television producer Julia George (Piper Perabo) as they attempt to control the media, the justice system, and ultimately - each other. He'll play Oscar Keaton, "a billionaire playboy who created one of America's biggest social media companies that went public two years ago." (Deadline.com)
STILL STAR-CROSSED (ABC/ABCS; W: Heather Mitchell; D: Michael Offer) - Medalion Rahimi has booked a role on the drama pilot, a sequel to "Romeo & Juliet" that follows the conflict between the Capulets and the Montagues in the wake of Romeo and Juliet's deaths. She'll play Princess Isabella, "described as intelligent, outspoken and practical with inner steel." (Deadline.com)
TAKEN (NBC/Universal; W: Alexander Cary; D: Alex Graves) - Jennifer Beals ("Proof") has joined the cast of the Peacock's prequel to the Liam Neeson-led film franchise, about a retired CIA operative on a one-man mission to save his kidnapped daughter which would follow a young Bryan Mills (Clive Standen) before he marries and has a daughter. She's on board as Christina Hart, "the Special Deputy Director of National Intelligence who has taken Mills under her wing. Cultured and powerful with a wealth of field experience, her current government position has her overseeing an elite team of operatives who take care of America's national security emergencies." TIME (NBC/Sony; W: Eric Kripke & Shawn Ryan; D: Neil Marshall) - Sakina Jaffrey ("Mr. Robot") has booked a role on the drama pilot, about an unlikely trio - a historian (Abigail Spencer), a soldier (Matt Lanter) and an engineer (Malcolm Barrett) - traveling through time to battle unknown criminals in order to protect history as we know it. She'll play Denise Christopher, "a formidable and high-ranking government agent in charge of the team's trip back in time to chase after the criminal." (Deadline.com)
TOAST (ABC/ABCS; W: Greg Grunberg & Scott Foley; D: Gail Mancuso) - Jerrika Hinton ("Grey's Anatomy") is set to star in the multi-camera comedy, about engaged couple Max (Jono Kenyon) and Paige who, over their wedding rehearsal dinner, have their eclectic family and friends give toasts recalling anecdotes about the couple - but flashbacks reveal that the toasts don't always get it right. She'll play the aforementioned Paige, "Max's confident, no-nonsense, self-aware, soon-to-be bride. She's spent most of her life working very hard but feeling a bit sheltered by her well-to-do Texas family. UNTITLED CHARLES RANDOLPH PROJECT (Amazon, New!) - Oscar-winner Charles Randolph (The Big Short) has sold a potential drama to the streaming service "described as a multifaceted, realistic look at what it would take to create a present-day civil war in the U.S." No other details were given. VLAD (NBC/WBT; W: Adam Sztykiel & Vladimir Caamaño; D: TBA) - Lilah Richcreek has been cast in the multi-camera comedy pilot, inspired by comedian Vladimir Caamaño's real-life family dynamic living with his Dominican father and older brother in the Bronx. She'll play "self-described Bronx girl Rosie, a smart, capable young woman managing nearly 20 of her dad's buildings. Vlad finds her both inspiring and intimidating. When Rosie offers Vlad a job as her IT guy, this gives their good-natured flirtation even more common ground." (Deadline.com)
ZOOBIQUITY (FOX/20th; W: Jonathan Collier & Stephen Nathan; D: Kevin Bray) - Wesam Keesh ("Awkward") has scored a role on the drama pilot, which follows the unlikely pairing of Dr. Kara Martins (Marsha Thomason), a successful, driven cardiologist, as she risks career suicide by teaming with Dr. Lucas Cort (Peter Facinelli), a socially-challenged veterinarian who relates better to animals than people.
