CINEMAX has confirmed the debut date for QUARRY, with the eight-episode season of the drama series to launch FRIDAY, SEPT. 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT).
QUARRY tells the story of Mac Conway, a Marine who returns home to Memphis from Vietnam in 1972 and finds himself shunned by those he loves and demonized by the public. As he struggles to cope with his experiences at war, Conway is drawn into a network of killing and corruption that spans the length of the Mississippi River.
Logan Marshall-Green ("Prometheus") stars as Conway. Also starring are Jodi Balfour ("Final Destination 5") as Joni, Peter Mullan (HBO's "Olive Kitteridge") as The Broker, Nikki Amuka-Bird ("Luther") as Ruth, and Damon Herriman ("Justified") as Buddy, along with Jamie Hector (HBO's "The Wire") as Arthur, Edoardo Ballerini ("Romeo Must Die") as Karl, and Skipp Sudduth ("Ronin") as Lloyd.
QUARRY is created, written and executive produced by Graham Gordy & Michael D. Fuller ("Rectify"); directed and executive produced by Greg Yaitanes (CINEMAX's Emmy(R)-winning "Banshee"; Emmy(R) winner for directing "House, M.D."), along with executive producer Steve Golin (HBO's Emmy(R)-nominated "True Detective"; "Mr. Robot"; the Oscar(R)-winning "Spotlight"; the Oscar(R)-nominated "The Revenant").
An HBO Entertainment production in association with Anonymous Content, the series is also executive produced by Matt DeRoss ("The End of the Tour"), David Kanter ("The End of the Tour"), Max Allan Collins and Ken Levin ("The Scribbler").
