13 REASONS WHY (Netflix) - Amy Hargreaves is the latest addition to the upcoming drama, based on Jay Asher's book of the same name. She'll play Mrs. Jensen, Clay's (Dylan Minnette) mother. (Deadline.com)
DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (The CW) - Maisie Richardson-Sellers ("The Originals") has been cast as Amaya Jiwe, grandmother to Mari McCabe (Megalyn Echikunwoke), on the show's sophomore run, where she'll take over as a different incarnation of Vixen from an earlier point in time. (Deadline.com)
GOTHAM (FOX) - James Carpinello has been cast as mob progeny Mario Falcone on the series: "son of feared mob boss Carmine Falcone (John Doman), Carpinello's Mario has rejected his family's criminal ways and made a legitimate life for himself as a well-respected, Ivy League-educated ER doctor. He's kind, honest and trustworthy, making him the black sheep of the Falcone clan. But his arrival in Gotham will create major waves in the personal life of Jim Gordon, who at the end of Season 2 left town to find and win back his fiancee Lee." (TVLine.com)
I'M SORRY (truTV) - Tom Everett Scott and Olive Petrucci have both joined the cast of the Andrea Savage-led comedy pilot, about a seemingly confident, together comedy writer, wife and mom, who is forced to expose her inner immaturity and neuroses as life hands her situations no one could have prepared her for. He'll play "Andrea's more straitlaced husband Mike" while Olive Petrucci is set as their "inquisitive daughter Amelia." Additionally, Jason Mantzoukas, June Squibb, Gary Anthony Williams, Gillian Vigman, Maya Erskine and LaMonica Garrett are slated to guest in unspecified roles. Savage, Jessica Elbaum, Jason Zaro, Billy Rosenberg, Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, The Lonely Island's Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer are the executive producers with Rachel Goldenberg directing. (Deadline.com)
LEFTOVERS, THE (HBO) - Lindsay Duncan has booked a top secret role on the show's final season, set to bow sometime in 2017. (THR.com)
MAJOR CRIMES (TNT) - Sherilyn Fenn, Missi Pyle and Stephanie Courtney are slated to guest on the August 15 episode of the series, about "the mysterious overdose of Chris Walker, a young actor who had been starring as the hero 'Gold Storm' on a TV series." (TVLine.com)
ORIGINALS, THE (The CW) - Christina Moses ("Containment") has scored an arc on the show's upcoming fourth season as Keelin, "a smart, strong resourceful ER doctor - and the last living werewolf of her line. Keelin is openly bisexual, warm and unguarded by nature; but after the rest of her family was hunted to extinction, she went into hiding and since then she's deliberately avoided getting too close to anyone. She lives in fear of being discovered by the wrong people and has no idea that she's currently on a collision course with the Mikaelsons." (Deadline.com)
SUPERIOR DONUTS (CBS) - Comedian Rell Battle has been promoted to regular on the new pilot after guest starring in the original incarnation as Franco's (Jermaine Fowler) buddy, Sweatpants. (Deadline.com)
VAMPIRE DIARIES, THE (The CW) - Kristen Gutoskie ("Containment") will recur on season eight as Seline, "a warm, nurturing nanny of two young kids by day, and a small-town girl trying to find her place in a dangerous world by night. Bonded to her new 'family' in ways she can't explain, Seline will fight desperately to protect the ones she loves." (Deadline.com)
