BEAT SHAZAM (FOX, New!) - A new interactive musical game show, based on the popular Shazam app, is being developed by the network. Mark Burnett and Jeff Apploff are among the executive producers of the series, which "features teams who attempt to identify a song; the winning team then has to compete with Shazam for the top prize." Shazam Entertainment Limited is producing. (Deadline.com)
BOB'S BURGERS/FAMILY GUY/THE SIMPSONS (FOX) - Amy Schumer will lend her voice to all three animated comedies this season: "a customer in the toy shop where Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) and Teddy (Larry Murphy) go to replace Louise's (Kristen Schaal) toy that was accidentally melted" on the former; a construction worker on "Family Guy"; and Mr. Burns's (Harry Shearer) mother on "The Simpsons." COMEDY GET DOWN (BET) - Tawny Newsome has been cast in the upcoming comedy, which details what really happens behind the scenes of a massive stand-up comedy tour featuring five legendary comics - George Lopez, DL Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer, Eddie Griffin and Charlie Murphy. She'll play Nina, "a whip-smart, tough and organized tour road manager to the comedians." (Deadline.com)
COUPLED (FOX) - The network has passed on a second season of the Mark Burnett-produced dating series, which wrapped its summer run last week. (Deadline.com)
DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (The CW) - Sarah Grey (Power Rangers) has been cast as Justice Society of America member Courtney Whitmore (a.k.a. Stargirl) on the series. (IGN.com)
ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT (Syndication) - Executive producer Brad Bessey is departing the show ahead of its 36th season, while Rick Joyce will take the position of executive producer. (Variety.com)
FLASH, THE (The CW) - Susan Walters ("The Vampire Diaries") has been cast as Dr. Carla Tannhauser, the mom of Danielle Panabaker's character, "a world class biomedical engineer and CEO of a major research company. But while Caitlin may have inherited her mother's formidable scientific mind, the two have long had a difficult relationship, with Caitlin finding her mother cold and withholding, and Carla regarding her daughter as rebellious and ungrateful." GIRLS (HBO) - Matthew Rhys ("The Americans") is slated to appear on the show's sixth and final season in a yet-to-be-revealed capacity. (TVLine.com)

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS (Freeform) - Ava Allan has been tapped for a role as Addison, "a pretty little bully who's attractive, entitled, manipulative and intimidating, and every insecure high school girl's worst nightmare." (Deadline.com)
ROADSIDE PICNIC (WGN America) - Martin Donovan is the latest to be cast in the drama pilot as Dr. Vanlentine Pillman, "head of a government institute that studies and attempts to maintain control over six zones where the aliens made earthly contact." (Deadline.com)
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (NBC) - Veteran cast members Taran Killam and Jay Pharoah are both departing the series after six seasons. (TVLine.com)
SHADOWHUNTERS (Freeform) - Todd Slavkin and Darren Swimmer ("Guilt") has been tapped as the new showrunners of the series following the departure of Ed Decter. Additionally, Matt Hastings has joined the series as an executive producer/in-house director. (Deadline.com)
TAP, THE (USA) - Aaron Tracy and Andrew Lenchewski's long-in-the-works drama - which takes place at Yale University in 1969 and explores the height of America's cultural and political revolutions - has been ordered to pilot by the cable channel. Lenchewski, Rob Reiner, Alan Greisman and Charlie Ebersol remain as executive producers for Universal Cable Productions with Tracy as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
TRAINING DAY (CBS) - Christina Vidal has joined the cast of the midseason drama as Valeria Chavez, "the best investigator in Robbery Homicide Division, which puts her in the running for the best investigator in the world. Minus the LAPD raid jacket and handcuffs, you might take her for a soccer mom, but you'd do so at your extreme peril." (Deadline.com)
