SHOWTIME(R) Offers Viewers The Chance To Watch Across Multiple Platforms, Before The Critically-Acclaimed Series Swings Into The '70s On September 11th At 10 PM ET/PT

NEW YORK, NY - September 1, 2016 - Viewers can now sample the fourth season premiere of the critically-acclaimed SHOWTIME drama series MASTERS OF SEX across multiple platforms, ahead of its linear premiere on Sunday, September 11th at 10 p.m. ET/PT. MASTERS OF SEX stars Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) nominee Michael Sheen and Emmy nominee Lizzy Caplan as real-life pioneers of human sexuality, William Masters and Virginia Johnson. Season four will begin in 1968 and into the "swinging '70s," during which time the series' characters will take on new partners both professionally, personally and sexually.

Starting today, consumers who do not subscribe to SHOWTIME can watch the season four premiere for free on SHO.com and Facebook. Starting tomorrow, consumers can sample the premiere of MASTERS OF SEX for free across multiple television and streaming providers' devices, websites, applications and free On Demand channels.

SHOWTIME subscribers can watch the season four premiere of MASTERS OF SEX starting tomorrow on SHOWTIME ON DEMAND(R) and SHOWTIME ANYTIME(R). The episode will also be available on SHOWTIME (showtime.com), the stand-alone streaming service available through Amazon, Apple(R), Google and Roku(R), as well as through Amazon Prime Video, Hulu and Sony PlayStation(R) Vue.

As the late 60's become the early 70's, MASTERS OF SEX season four is all about revolution. Bras are burning, sex is everywhere, and Masters and Johnson reap the benefits and the pressures of the revolution they've let loose in the world. Beginning the season at odds and burdened by lies, they slowly switch roles in both their work and the bedroom. MASTERS OF SEX also stars Caitlin FitzGerald and Tony(R) Award winner Annaleigh Ashford. Guest stars include Beau Bridges, Sarah Silverman, Niecy Nash, Betty Gilpin, Andre Royo, David Walton, Kevin Christy, Alysia Reiner, Jeremy Strong, Corey Reynolds and Ashley Zukerman. MASTERS OF SEX was developed for television by Michelle Ashford (The Pacific), who also serves as an executive producer. In addition, the series is executive produced by Sarah Timberman, Carl Beverly, Amy Lippman and Judith Verno. Michael Sheen, Lizzy Caplan, Tammy Rosen and Thomas Maier serve as producers.
