FREEFORM ACQUIRES ALL FIVE SEASONS OF 'THE MINDY PROJECT'
SERIES BEGINS AIRING ON MONDAY, OCTOBER 3
Freeform has acquired all five seasons of "The Mindy Project" from NBC Universal. The comedy will begin airing on Freeform in a late-night stack MONDAY, OCTOBER 3 (12:00 - 2 a.m. EDT), with a special primetime binge on November 2 starting at 8:00 p.m. EDT. Episodes will also be available on the Freeform App on October 3 and will refresh weekly.

"The Mindy Project" from Universal Television is a single-camera comedy series created by and starring Emmy(r)-nominated writer/producer and New York Times best-selling author Mindy Kaling, which follows a skilled OB/GYN navigating the tricky waters of both her personal and professional life. The series stars Mindy Kaling, Chris Messina, Ed Weeks, Ike Barinholtz, Adam Pally, Beth Grant, Xosha Roquemore, Fortune Feimster and Zoe Jarman. From 3 Arts Entertainment in association with Universal Television, "The Mindy Project" is executive produced by Kaling, Howard Klein, Matt Warburton, Charlie Grandy and Michael Spiller.
Season five of "The Mindy Project" will return with all-new episodes on October 4 on Hulu. The series will celebrate its 100th episode this season.
