HISTORY(R)'S HIT SERIES 'THE CURSE OF OAK ISLAND' AND 'HUNTING HITLER' RETURN WITH ALL-NEW EPISODES TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 15 AT 9PM ET/PT

New York, NY - October 11, 2016 - HISTORY premieres new seasons of its hit series "The Curse of Oak Island," the network's #1 nonfiction series across all key demographics, and "Hunting Hitler," the network's #2 new nonfiction series of 2015 across all key demographics, on Tuesday, November 15 at 9 PM ET/PT and 10 PM ET/PT respectively. The search for hidden treasure endures as "The Curse of Oak Island" makes breakthrough discoveries in season four and "Hunting Hitler" continues to investigate and unveil the fate of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi trail in season two.

For Rick and Marty Lagina, their lifelong dream of solving the 221-year Oak Island mystery may be on the verge of the greatest breakthrough yet. After discovering a mysterious shiny gold object last season in a cavity of the island, the Laginas are going for broke when "The Curse of Oak Island" returns. With over 450-tons of massive, state-of-the-art technology and heavy digging machinery, this season the Lagina Brothers and their partners are excavating the renowned Money Pit - a manmade hole first discovered by three teenage boys in the late 1700's - which is believed to be hiding a chest full of valuable items.

Additionally, a one-hour pre-show, "The Curse of Oak Island: Drilling Down," will serve as a recap of last season and a crash course for new viewers beginning immediately before the premiere at 8PM ET/PT. During its season three run, "The Curse of Oak Island" was all of cable's #1 nonfiction series on Tuesday nights in all key demographics averaging 2.9 million total viewers, 1.3 million Adults 25-54 and 1.1 million Adults 18-49.

Season two of "Hunting Hitler" returns as 21-year CIA veteran, Bob Baer, and the UN's premier war crimes investigator, Dr. John Cencich, continue their investigation to uncover the true fate of Adolf Hitler and the wider Nazi dispatch at the end of WWII. After an exploration last season that took them across thousands of miles and six countries, Baer and Cencich take their hunt to a new level in season two by gaining access to over 14,000 pages of declassified international documents from every major intelligence agency around the world.

With hundreds of new discoveries and promising leads at their fingertips, Baer and Cencich deploy dozens of experts, historians, and military man hunters armed with the most cutting edge technology to uncover the truth. From photographic evidence to the unveiling of a secret Nazi cult in the remote mountains of Chile, the team will stop at nothing in an effort to answer questions that have lingered for over seventy years.
