93 TIL INFINITY (FOX, New!) - Writer Ian Edelman ("How to Make It in America"), rapper-actor-producer Common and director Thomas Kail ("Grease: Live!") are set to team for a single-camera comedy at the network about "a prolific (black) rapper from the 90's, struggling in present day to figure out the next chapter of his life, who reconnects with his (white) best friend from middle school, struggling with family and real responsibilities, equally desperate for a midlife reboot." 20th Century Fox Television is behind the half-hour, which has a penalty attached. Edelman, Danielle Sanchez-Witzel, 3 Arts Entertainment's Tom Lassally, Jonathan Berry, Shelby Stone, Old 320 Sycamore's Kail and Freedom Road Productions' Derek Dudley and Common are the executive producers. 940 SATURDAYS (ABC, New!) - Chrissy Pietrosh and Jessica Goldstein ("Telenovela") have sold a single-camera comedy to the Alphabet based on the book of the same name by Dr. Harley A. Rotbart. Said effort tracks three families as they band together to enjoy (and survive) the "940 Saturdays between the day your child is born and the day they turn 18." UnbeliEVAable Entertainment's Eva Longoria and Ben Spector will also executive produce for Universal Television. (Deadline.com)
AMERICANS, THE (FX) - Laurie Holden ("The Walking Dead") has signed onto the show's fifth season in the recurring role of Renee, "a new woman in town who captures the interest of Stan when they meet at the gym. Renee easily keeps up with the guys watching sports, drinking beer, and fly fishing, but is she the woman of Stan's dreams?" (TVLine.com)
BLACKLIST, THE: REDEMPTION (NBC) - David Amann ("Castle") has been tapped as showrunner of the franchise's proposed spin-off, which stars Ryan Eggold and Famke Janssen. (TVLine.com)
GOOD GIRLS REVOLT (Amazon) - Daniel DiTomasso has landed a role on the newcomer as Chad Harrington, "Jane's (Anna Camp) WASP-y boarding school-educated boyfriend." (Deadline.com)
INCOGNITO (CBS, New!) - Rashad Raisani ("Allegiance") is developing a domestic take on the Swedish series "Inkognito," about "a crusading U.S. Attorney who leads a skilled team of misfits into life and death situations to find critical evidence the prosecution needs to even the playing field with the corrupt and the mighty." Will Packer and Korin D. Huggins of Will Packer Productions as well as Arnold Rifkin of Cheyenne Enterprises will also executive produce for Universal Television. The project has a penalty attached. MAJOR CRIMES (TNT) - Daniel DiTomasso is bound for the series as Wes, "an undercover cop entrenched in a white supremacist group for seven years, who will help the Major Crimes Team bring the Z Brotherhood down." (Deadline.com)
MRS. V. MR. (CBS, New!) - Brett Mahoney ("Code Black") has sold a new drama to the Eye about "a prominent, larger-than-life L.A. defense attorney and the chief prosecutor for the DA's office who are constantly at odds in the courtroom, but are a happily married couple who have to leave their rivalries at the door when it comes to raising their three willful kids." CBS Television Studios is behind the hour with Scott Free Productions' Ridley Scott and David W. Zucker also slated to executive produce. (Variety.com)
PIGEON (FOX, New!) - Anders Holm ("Workaholics") is set to star in a single-camera comedy for the network about Simon Pigeon, "a private eye who is uniquely suited to detective work but ill-equipped to manage his personal life." Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky will pen the ABC Studios-based half-hour, which has a put pilot commitment. Holm's manager Isaac Horne will also executive produce alongside said group. SHAMELESS (Showtime) - Barry Sloane ("Revenge") has booked a two-episode arc on the series as Ryan, "a good-looking entrepreneur who meets Fiona (Emmy Rossum) at a Southside Young Professionals networking event." (THR.com)
SHE'S GOTTA HAVE IT (Netflix) - Margot Bingham (Barbershop 3) has scored a role on the Spike Lee series as Clorinda Bradford, "a hip emerging curator who aspires to global dominance with each new endeavor." (THR.com)
TIMELESS (NBC) - Daniel DiTomasso will recur on the newcomer as Noah, "the man Lucy (Abigail Spencer) has never before seen in her life but apparently plans to marry." (Deadline.com)
UNHINGED (Hulu, New!) - Casey Wilson and June Diane Raphael are set to re-team for a single camera comedy at the streaming service about April Hansen (a role eyed for Wilson), "a suburban, middle-aged woman with a problem. A rage problem. She's tired of leaning in and playing nice and being told she can have it all. She knows it's not attractive for a woman to be angry. And she's angry about that. April Hansen has become... unhinged." John Riggi is also on board to executive produce. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ILIZA SHLESINGER PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Iliza Shlesinger (ABCd's "Forever 31") has sold a potential comedy to the Alphabet about "a wife and mom, and her New York family, as they relocate to Dallas, Texas, after her husband suddenly divorces her and she's left alone with their two children and a fledgling catering business, while also having to adjust to her newly single life in a town none of them fit in." Avalon Television and ABC Studios are co-producing. (Variety.com)
UNTITLED PAUL WILLIAM DAVIES PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Paul William Davies ("Scandal") has landed a pilot production commitment from the Alphabet for a new drama set in the Southern District of New York Federal Court and "follows brand new lawyers working for both the defense and the prosecution as they handle the most high profile and high stakes cases in the country - all as their personal lives intersect." Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers will also executive produce via their ABC Studios-based Shondaland banner. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ROBERT PEACOCK PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Robert Peacock ("The Haunted Hathaways") has set up a potential comedy at the Alphabet about "a military vet who returns home only to be greeted by a mountain of debt and a depressed job market. He has no choice but to move his family in with his widowed mother, an opinionated conservative who is perpetually outraged about their changing neighborhood demographics." Kelsey Grammer and Tom Russo of Grammnet Productions will also executive produce for ABC Studios. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED ROBERT SPECLAND PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Robert Specland has sold a new drama to the network set in San Francisco about "two attorneys from opposite upbringings facing off on opposite sides of the courtroom, and a young woman between them - an ex-con who joins the law firm in the hopes of putting her troubled past behind her." 20th Century Fox Television-based Baer Bones Productions is behind the hour with Neal Baer and Jessica Shulman also attached as executive producer and co-executive producer, respectively.
