PASADENA, Calif. -- From the Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour, premium TV network EPIX(R) announced today that its next Original Comedy Special will showcase Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally's unique stage production Summer of 69: No Apostrophe. The one-hour special will be filmed tonight at The Barclay in Irvine, CA and makes its World Television Premiere on EPIX on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 10:00PM ET/PT, 9:00 PM CT.
In Summer of 69: No Apostrophe, Offerman and Mullally are yanking the britches right off of their marriage, while exposing the salacious details of their fiery union for all the world to enjoy through song, funny talking, heavy ribaldry, light petting and an astonishing final act of completion.
Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally said: "We love to make sweet love to each other in general, so to be paid millions of dollars to do it in front of an audience is just that much sweeter."
Mark S. Greenberg, President and CEO, EPIX said: "Nick and Megan are both incredibly gifted performers in their own right, but when they come together they are unstoppable. Their Summer of 69: No Apostrophe tour has sold out theaters around the world and is a true testament to their standing as one of Hollywood's most hilarious power couples.
