TRAVEL CHANNEL'S "TRIP TESTERS" ASKS TWO PROS HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OF A VACATION
New Series Premieres Monday, February 6 with Back-to-Back Episodes at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT
NEW YORK (January 30, 2017) - Professional travel writers Jason Kessler and Jeff Miller get paid to travel the world for a living. Now the duo will determine if activities at the country's most popular vacation destinations live up to the hype in Travel Channel's new series "Trip Testers." Premiering on Monday, February 6 at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT with back-to-back episodes, the series puts the spotlight on Jason and Jeff as they check out the best bargains and over-the-top adventures - from zip lining above Fremont Street in Las Vegas to racing go karts at a family-friendly track in San Antonio or digging into a fresh-from-the-sea bowl of poke on the Big Island in Hawaii. As Jeff says, "vacations are just too precious to not get them right," so these seasoned travel writers will help you decide if an activity is worth your hard-earned time and money.
In the premiere episode, Jason and Jeff explore everything Las Vegas has to offer, from old-school Fremont Street to the fabulous strip. Their fun-filled trip includes eating $3.99 shrimp cocktails, watersliding through a shark tank, zip lining over downtown and playing life-sized Jenga. In the next episode, the guys head to Louisiana to explore New Orleans. During their NOLA vacation, they indulge in an elegant jazz brunch, get up close and personal with a few alligators and sample the French Quarter's finest absinthe.
