9J 9K 9L (CBS) - Linda Lavin and Elliott Gould have been tapped as the parents on the comedy pilot, about a guy (Mark Feuerstein) who lives in apartment 9K in the building he grew up in, sandwiched between his parents' apartment, 9J, and his brother (David Walton), sister-in-law (Liza Lapira) and their baby's apartment, 9L, and attempts to set boundaries with his intrusive but well-meaning family. They'll play Judy and Harry: "Lavin's Judy is pretty, stylish, social and obsessed with her sons. Her best day would be spent just staring at and smelling Josh. Harry knows no boundaries. A pillar of the community, he's warm and loving and lives life to the fullest." (Deadline.com)
A.P. BIOLOGY (NBC) - Aparna Brielle is the latest addition to the comedy pilot as Sarika, "a career-driven student who's constantly trying to do everything right and climb the ladder." (Deadline.com)
DR. KEN (ABC) - Alison Brie is the latest "Community" alum set to appear on the series. She'll play herself in the show's season finale, in which she "reads with Ken (Jeong) during his audition, and is soon uncomfortable with Ken's bold acting choices." Dan Harmon also appears in the episode. (Deadline.com)
GILMORE GIRLS (Netflix) - Netflix's chief content officer Ted Sarandos says the streaming service has had "preliminary talks with the show's creators for a possible second part of the 'Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life' revival." (Deadline.com)
LAS REINAS (ABC) - Matthew Davis and Amanda Warren are both bound for the Daniella Alonso-led drama pilot. He'll play "the good guy cop, Andrew Somerset. A recent transplant to Florida, the intelligent, observant and keenly perceptive Somerset is Sonya's partner. Sonya may be "street royalty" - but Somerset is not about to let her go it alone (as much as she'd like to)." Warren then is set as Inspector Kathryn Geller, "the tough as nails head of the Organized Crime Task Force. Geller is a big game hunter who's been trying to get Alex to take down her Grandmother for years." (Deadline.com)
LOSING IT (ABC) - Emmy-winner Jon Cryer ("Two and a Half Men") has booked one of the lead roles in the comedy pilot as Andy: "a successful acupuncturist who turned to Eastern philosophy as a way to cope with his crazy family. While he's close with his mother, his relationship with his father is complicated, especially since Andy finds himself having to take care of the dad who never really took care of him. A bit of a control freak, Andy believes he can fix anything - except for maybe his marriage that has been in trouble ever since he caught his wife with another man." (Deadline.com)
PERFECT CITIZEN (CBS) - Noah Wyle is set to topline the drama pilot, about Deck Parsons, the former general counsel for the NSA who, after his involvement as a whistleblower in an international scandal, embarks on a new career at a storied law firm in Boston; once there, he must face the reality that half the country thinks he's our greatest patriot, the other half thinks he's a traitor. RAISED BY WOLVES (ABC) - Craig T. Nelson is set to star alongside Georgia King is in the comedy pilot, about Sheila Gabel (King), one tough mother struggling to support her five opinionated, eccentric kids on a shoestring budget in a Midwestern town. He'll play her father, Paul "Grampy" Kosinski: "A cheerfully entitled baby boomer with limited resources, he often takes advantage of her but also provides an odd comfort to the family." Also cast are Izabella Alvarez, Talia Jackson and Cooper J. Friedman as three of her kids: Dusty (14), Dolly (13), Yoko (11), Banksy (6) and Beebee (4). (Deadline.com)
REDLINERS (NBC) - Greg Germann has scored a role on the drama pilot as David Angola, "Holt's handler at the FBI, a shrewd, political opportunist who learned spycraft from books." (Deadline.com)
SPACED OUT (NBC) - Miranda Cosgrove and director Ruben Fleischer have both boarded the comedy pilot, about a working class genius and his struggles to fit in with an established team all made more difficult when their job is building a rocket to Mars. She's set as Casey, "a brilliant and enthusiastic software engineer who shares her co-workers' dream of sending humans to Mars." (Deadline.com)
SPLITTING UP TOGETHER (ABC) - Diane Farr has joined the cast of the Jenna Fischer-led comedy pilot as Maya, "the wry single sister of Lena (Fischer) who pushes Lena to embrace her new singlehood in a plainspoken way that only a loving, older sister can." (Deadline.com)
THIS IS US (NBC) - Co-executive producers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger have inked a new overall deal with 20th Century Fox Television. The pact will see the duo promoted to executive producers/co-showrunners alongside creator Dan Fogelman. Aptaker and Berger were previously tapped to pen "How I Met Your Father," a new take on a spin-off from "How I Met Your Mother," however that project is on hold with their increased responsibilities on "This Is Us." TRUSTEE, THE (ABC) - Lance Gross is bound for the drama pilot as "police detective J.D. Hayes, who's not only a colleague of Radley (Meaghan Rath), he's also dating her. He delights in her toughness but is not so thrilled when an old tragedy threatens their relationship, which he wants to take to the next level." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED GRANDY & KALING PROJECT (NBC) - Nina Wadia is the latest to be cast in the comedy pilot as Lubna, "a not to be trifled with ambitious Saudi woman who owns the salon next to the gym owned by lead Vince (Anders Holm). The character is the mother of two very successful daughters and has her eye on expanding her business at Vince's expense." (Deadline.com)
