Mandeville Films and Television's David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman and Laurie Zaks will also executive produce for ABC Studios with Burgess as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
SAFE HARBOR (ABC, New!) - Jason Richman ("Lucky 7") is back in business with the Alphabet for a new drama about "the cops of LAPD's Harbor Division, who bristle at the idea of another armchair outsider taking their fired Captain's place. All this as Oriana Cloverfield embarks on a second career in law enforcement. As a recruit on patrol, Cloverfield witnesses the warts and all challenges and dedication of her fellow officers as well as the systemic mismanagement imposed on them from above. She ultimately shocks everyone as she reveals her true identity... she's not just a new recruit, but the new Captain who wanted a view from the trenches." STITCHERS (Freeform) - The network has opted to pull the plug on the series after three seasons. The Jackal Group's Gail Berman and Joe Earley will also executive produce, as will Richard Arlook. No studio was indicated for the project, which has a penalty attached. (Variety.com)
TRUE LIES (FOX, New!) - Marc Guggenheim ("Arrow") has scored a put pilot commitment from FOX for a small screen take on James Cameron's hit 1994 action comedy, about a super-spy (Arnold Schwarzenegger in the feature) whose family discovers his real job. Cameron will also serve as an executive producer alongside Jon Landau, Rae Sanchini, Mary Viola and McG, the latter of which is attached to direct. Lightstorm Entertainment, Wonderland Sound and Vision and 20th Century Fox Television are co-producing. ABC previously took a stab at a TV series in 2010 with Rene Echevarria at the helm. (Deadline.com)
WESTWORLD (HBO) - Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada has scored an arc on the drama as Musashi, a top secret role. (Deadline.com)
