VICELAND RENEWS 2 CHAINZ'S "MOST EXPENSIVEST" FOR SECOND SEASON, ADDS SIX MORE EPISODES OF "THE TRIXIE & KATYA SHOW"

NEW SERIES: "SLUTEVER" PREMIERES JAN 24 & "HATE THY NEIGHBOR" SECOND SEASON RETURNS JAN 23

January 9, 2018, Brooklyn, NY - VICELAND, the Emmy-winning youth lifestyle and entertainment network from VICE Media and A+E Networks, is renewing and extending two of its more popular new series while rolling out a provocative new and successful returning series this month.

The network announced today the Season 2 pickup for Grammy winning hip-hop superstar 2 Chainz's "Most Expensivest," Chainz's continuing unpredictable exploration into the culture of excess as well as a six-episode extension for the drag comedy show "The Trixie & Katya Show" with "RuPaul's Drag Race" breakouts Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova (the girls will return to VICELAND Wednesday, January 24 alongside the premiere of "Slutever" featuring VOGUE sex columnist and blogger Karley Sciortino).

Not only did both "Most Expensivest" and "Trixie & Katya" debut to a strong and growing audience for the nearly two-year-old network, both were praised in the press:

"Time and time again 2 Chainz has proved himself to be one of hip-hop's most eccentric and unpredictable figures... he brings a delightful mix of incredulity and glee to these lavish encounters." -- The New York Times

"I Didn't Know How Badly I Needed To Watch 2 Chainz Try Expensive Stuff... " - Refinery 29

"Quick-witted and quotable, 'The Trixie & Katya Show' is a soothing balm on the inflamed rash that is 2017" -- AV Club

"['The Trixie & Katya Show' is] bawdy, absurd, outrageous and, at times, strikingly insightful."-- Newsweek

"Most Expensivest," which began as a short-form video series on GQ.com, is a co-production of Condé Nast Entertainment (CNE) and Mustache. Executive producers are Nomi Ernst Leidner for VICELAND, Dawn Ostroff and Joe LaBracio of CNE, John Limotte of Mustache, 2 Chainz and Coach Tek.

"The Trixie & Katya Show" is from World of Wonder and is executive produced by Leidner for VICELAND, Fenton Bailey, Randy Barbato, Tom Campbell, Nelson Walters and RuPaul.

Meanwhile, VICELAND preps to debut the premiere of "Slutever" with VOGUE sex columnist and VICE.com contributor Karley Sciortino making the leap from page to screen on Wednesday, January 24 @ 10PM. The fearless, funny feminist and author takes an in-depth look at sex in the modern world. Sciortino embarks on a series of sexual adventures, challenging outdated ideas about sexuality, gender and love by putting herself at the center of the action. The series promises to investigate intimacy in a fun, self-aware, immersive way that is comical, but not mocking - a show for viewers to learn and LOL simultaneously. In addition to the television series, Sciortino will take "Slutever" to print when her book of the same name is published by Grand Central Books in February, 2018.. "Slutever" is produced by VICELAND with executive producers Sciortino, and Adri Murguia and Leidner & Gena Konstantinakos for VICELAND. Danielle Franco is co-executive producer.

Finally, on Tuesday, January 23 at 10:00 PM, British stand-up comedian Jamali Maddix returns to the States for a second season of his hit series "Hate Thy Neighbor." This season, Maddix focuses exclusively on America. In a country rocked by political change and social turbulence, where the role of authority, identity, nationalism and free speech are constantly being fought over and debated, Maddix spends time with some of America's most controversial figures, hostile movements and extremist groups in an attempt to understand the roots of the deepening divisions and anger in our country. His journeys are, once again, punctuated by his often-hilarious observations on the experience shot in the relative safety of a London comedy club. "Hate Thy Neighbor" is from VICE STUDIOS UK, executive produced by Yonni Usiskin and Konstantinakos. The series is directed by Yemi Bamiro.
