25 (CBS, New!) - Hilary Winston ("Bad Teacher") is back in business with the Eye for a multi-camera/hybrid comedy pilot which "centers on twenty-something Kyle who comes to Austin to finally convince his old best friend from camp they are perfect for each other. Unfortunately, she just got engaged. A lot of guys would give up; Kyle is not one of those guys. But to Kyle's surprise, even though he came to town looking for "the one," he might end up with much more than that." CBS TV Studios and the Sony Pictures TV-based Point Grey Pictures are behind the half-hour with the latter's James Weaver, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
AMAZING STORIES (Apple) - Hart Hanson and Bryan Fuller have both bowed out as executive producers of the revival series over creative differences. The company gave the project a 10-episode straight-to-series order in November. (Deadline.com)
BERLIN STATION (Epix) - Jason Horwitch has been tapped as showrunner for the series' third season. He'll succeed Brad Winters, who is departing after two seasons. (Deadline.com)
DADDY ISSUES (FOX) - Kat Coiro ("The Mick") is set to direct the single-camera comedy pilot, about single, 30-something Andi (Erin Foster), who refuses to settle down, and her friendship with her playboy dad. (Deadline.com)
GONE, BABY, GONE (FOX) - Phillip Noyce has signed on to direct the drama pilot, based on Dennis Lehane's book-turned 2007 feature of the same name. (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER: SVU (NBC) - Co-star Raúl Esparza confirmed via Twitter his exit from the series following tonight's episode. (@RaulEEsparza)
MAGNUM, P.I. (CBS) - Justin Lin is set to direct the Eye's reboot of the classic 1980s series. He'll also serve as an executive producer alongside Danielle Woodrow via their Perfect Storm Entertainment banner. (Deadline.com)
MR. MERCEDES (Audience) - Virginia Kull will recur on the show's sophomore run as Sadie McDonald, "a nurse on the neurology ward - known as the "Brain Bucket" - at Mercy General Hospital. An epileptic who has recently gone off her medication, she's prone to occasional microscopic seizures which pull her away from the task at hand. Her most famous patient is Brady Hartsfield, the infamous Mercedes killer." (Deadline.com)
ROOKIE, THE (ABC) - Eric Winter and Afton Williamson are both bound for the Nathan Fillion-led drama, about John Nolan, the oldest rookie in the LAPD. He'll play Tim Bradford, "an overbearing training officer"; while she's set as Talia Bishop, "a newly promoted training officer whose first assignment is Fillion's 40-year-old rookie." (Deadline.com)
SNATCH (Crackle) - Spanish actress Úrsula Corberó will recur on the show's second season as Ines, "a gun for hire known for her driving skills. She is whip-smart and street savvy, who is employed by the head of the San Toledo crime syndicate." (Deadline.com)
STARTUP (Crackle) - Allison Dunbar is bound for the show's third season as Kelly, "Wes's (Ron Perlman) longtime friend and trusted lawyer." (Deadline.com)
TOO OLD TO DIE YOUNG (Amazon) - Hart Bochner will recur on Nicolas Winding Refn's upcoming drama at the streaming service as Lieutenant, "a spiritual and larger than life man who believes in life's mysticism." (Deadline.com)
VILLAGE, THE (NBC) - Michaela McManus, Jerod Haynes and Frankie Faison have all been cast in the drama pilot, about the residents of a Manhattan apartment building whose lives intertwine. McManus will play Sarah, "a caring nurse and mother of a pregnant teen who was a teen mom herself"; with Haynes as Ben, "a local police officer and tenant of the apartment building"; and Faison as Ron, "a man who's very caring and willing to help anyone." WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS (FX) - Doug Jones, Beanie Feldstein, Jake McDorman and Mark Proksch have all booked roles on the film-turned-comedy pilot. Their characters, which will potentially recur, however are being kept under wraps. (Variety.com)
