#FASHIONVICTIM (E!) - The cable channel has passed on the Willa Fitzgerald-led drama pilot however producer Universal Cable Productions plans to shop it elsewhere. (Deadline.com)
AMERICAN HORROR STORY (FX) - Franchise staples Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Kathy Bates are all due back for the show's eighth installment. (Deadline.com)
CAMPING (HBO) - Ione Skye has scored a role on the upcoming Jennifer Garner/David Tennant-led comedy as Carleen: "She has spent her life in the shadows - as a sister, as a hospice worker and as an unsuccessful equestrian - and it has left her meek, terrified and relying on her own strange passions (crocheting with polyester yarn) to get her through the lonely days." CHIEFS (CBS) - Demetrius Grosse ("The Brave") has signed onto the drama pilot, about the professional and personal lives of three driven, successful, but very different women who are each Chiefs of Police of their own precincts in L.A. County. He'll play Clem Bryant. "Deputy Bryant works for The Los Angeles County Sheriff in the Special Enforcement Bureau, chasing down bail jumpers, serving high-risk warrants, and doing manhunts. He's been dating Kendra (Aunjanue Ellis) - and it's getting serious." His casting is presumably in second position to the NBC drama. (Deadline.com)
DAN THE WEATHERMAN (FOX) - Ashley Williams, James Earl and Daniel Stern are all bound for the Thomas Lennon-fronted comedy pilot, about a weatherman who's fired from his cushy job at the local TV station and reluctantly ends up at the neighboring Spanish TV station. Williams will play Deborah, "Dan's wife. A successful real estate agent who's always been the other half of this local power couple." Earl then will portray Henry, "Executive Producer at the TV station, Dan's boss and good friend"; with Stern as Don, "a tough Vietnam vet who now flies the traffic helicopter for the TV station." (Deadline.com)
INFAMY (FOX) - Nikki M. James will round out the cast of the pilot, a legal drama set in an wrongful conviction firm. She'll play Violet (FKA Kisa Bell): "Gregarious and charismatic, Violet is the law firm's communications director." (Deadline.com)
JUICY STORIES (E!) - Amy B. Harris and Michael Patrick King's small screen take on the lives of Juicy Couture founders Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor has formally been ordered to pilot. Warner Horizon TV and Universal Cable Productions are co-producing the drama, which tells the tale of two women who made clothes, made mistakes, made babies - and made one of the most iconic brands of the 1990s. Skaist-Levy and Nash-Taylor also serve as producers. (Deadline.com)
MAIN JUSTICE (CBS) - Aubrey Dollar has snagged a role on the Bokeem Woodbine-led drama pilot, inspired by the life and work of former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. She'll play Ellis Graham, "the Chief of Staff to the Attorney General. Recently divorced from her wife, with whom she has a young son, Ellis is smart, shrewd, loyal, extremely organized and efficient, always honest. She was recommended to the job by President Whitbeck (Peter Gallagher), who all but insisted Miles hire her." (Deadline.com)
MIXTAPE (FOX) - Raúl Castillo is the latest bound for the pilot, a romantic musical drama that looks at a disparate group of interconnected people in contemporary Los Angeles through the lens of the music that defines who they are. He'll play Sam Hughes, "an aspiring songwriter, secret romantic and young widower who will do anything for his son." (Deadline.com)
PREACHER (AMC) - Adam Croasdell and Prema Cruz are both bound for the upcoming third season as Eccarius, "a 350-year-old vampire who bears wisdom and has an air of aristocracy"; and Madame Boyd, "a tough forward thinker," respectively. (Deadline.com)
REL (FOX) - Comedians Jessica "Jess Hilarious" Moore and Sinbad have both been cast in the Lil Rel Howery-led comedy pilot, in which he tries to rebuild his life post-divorce as a long-distance single father on the South Side of Chicago who's on a quest for love, respect and a new barber. Moore will play Tiffany, "Rel's supportive, kind and driven best friend"; with Sinbad as "the father of Rel and Nat (Jordan L. Jones), who seems to care more about his reputation in the community than he does about the happiness of his sons." Moore replaces Angel Laketa Moore, a decision made after the pilot's table read. SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS, A (Netflix) - Allison Williams has scored a top secret role on the upcoming second season, due on March 30. (@Unfortunate)
SO CLOSE (NBC) - Julie Klausner ("Difficult People") has been cast in the Sasheer Zamata/Sean Kleier-led multi-camera comedy pilot as Amy: "A bit of a crazy with a manic edge to her, Amy works with Riley at the law firm and is one of her good friends." (Deadline.com)
STEPS (ABC) - Julie Hagerty and Cameron Boyce have both signed onto the Kyle Bornheimer/Ginnifer Goodwin-led single-camera comedy pilot, about four adults in three houses raising three kids after two divorces - together. Hagerty will play June, "Louie's mother who recently has gotten in touch with her Sapphic side"; while Boyce will play Becker, "a sincere and full-of-love young man with no filter, which can make for some uncomfortable moments." (Deadline.com)
