ABOUT KELLY CLARKSON

Kelly Clarkson serves as a coach on season 14 of NBC's four-time Emmy Award-winning series "The Voice." Prior to becoming a coach, Clarkson had appeared on "The Voice" as a key advisor, helping to mentor the show's aspiring artists. Clarkson, who recently released her critically acclaimed eighth studio album, "Meaning of Life," is among the most popular artists of this era with total worldwide sales of more than 25 million albums and 36 million singles. The Texas-born, Nashville-based singer-songwriter first came to fame in 2002 as the winner of the inaugural season of "American Idol." Clarkson's debut single, "A Moment Like This," followed and quickly went to #1 on Billboard's Hot 100, ultimately ranking as the year's best-selling single in the U.S. Further, Clarkson is, without doubt, one of pop's top singles artists, with 17 singles boasting multi-platinum, platinum and gold certifications around the world, including such global favorites as "Miss Independent," and "Because of You." Clarkson has received a vast array of awards and nominations, among them three Grammy Awards, and was the first artist to top each of Billboard's pop, adult contemporary, country, and dance charts. Clarkson has also made countless TV appearances, including performances during the 14th season of "American Idol" - the first-ever week of competition dedicated to a previous winner's discography.

ABOUT CHARLIE PUTH

Over the past three years, Charlie Puth has proven himself commercially with the extraordinary success of four multi-platinum hits, "One Call Away," "Marvin Gaye," and "We Don't Talk Anymore" from his platinum-selling, Top 10 debut album "Nine Track Mind." His other breakout hit, "See You Again," was one of 2015's the best-selling songs worldwide and spent 12 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100, earning him three Grammy nominations (including Song of the Year), a Golden Globe nomination and 9x-platinum certification in the U.S. But the New Jersey-born singer, songwriter, musician and producer was also eager to prove himself artistically when it came time to make his second album, "Voicenotes," named after the trusty iPhone app he uses to collect his musical ideas. Puth co-wrote every song and recorded and produced the album entirely himself (barring one song he co-produced with Max Martin) mainly at his home studio in Los Angeles. A meticulously crafted game-changer replete with sparkling melodies and sleek, danceable grooves, "Voicenotes" decimates everything people may think they know about this musical polymath. Puth has not only written and produced his own massive hits, but also for other artists spanning a range of genres, including Jason Derulo, Trey Songz, Thomas Rhett, Maroon 5, and G-Eazy. On "Voicenotes," Puth allows himself to truly be seen, not only as an artist but also as a human, which meant stepping out from behind the detached faade of lovelorn balladeering and being transparent about his emotions and influences. Audiences have embraced Puth's bold new direction. "Attention," which The New York Times pop critic Jon Caramanica listed fourth on his year-end list of "Best Songs of 2017," climbed to No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Puth's highest-charting single as a solo artist), hit No. 1 on both the Top 40 and Hot AC radio charts, and his been certified double-platinum, while the funky, cheating-ex song "How Long" hit No. 3 at Top 40 radio and has been certified platinum.

ABOUT 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER

Hailed as the "biggest new rock act in the world" by "Rolling Stone," 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS), is the only band in history to see its first two full-length studio albums enter the Billboard 200 at No. 1. 5SOS' new single, "Want You Back," debuted at No. 1 on iTunes in over 18 countries and has already amassed more than 110 million streams worldwide. "Billboard" calls the track "painstakingly catchy" while "Idolator" says, "the Aussie hitmakers dive head-first into slick pop with a rhythmic edge on their best single to date." The band will release their new album, "Youngblood," on June 22 on Capitol Records. 5SOS have sold over 6 million albums and over 3 billion streams worldwide. Their self-titled debut album has sold more than 3.5 million units worldwide, with 1.5 million albums and more than 4.5 million single tracks sold in the U.S. alone. In 2016 the band played 101 sold out arena shows around the world. 2015's "Sounds Good Feels Good" charted at No. 1 in 12 countries, including the U.S., the U.K. and Australia, being the first Australian band in history to be simultaneously #1 in those three countries. "She's Kinda Hot," the album's first single, topped the iTunes charts in 44 countries. After a year promoting the record and playing their 101 sold out arena shows in 2016, 5SOS spent 2017 living, writing and recording their new album in Los Angeles. 5SOS, who built a loyal and passionate fan base playing shows around the world, has decided to take new music directly to its fans on the sold out 5SOS3 tour, which began in April and will run through June. 5SOS - comprising Luke Hemmings (vocals/guitar), Michael Clifford (vocals/guitar), Calum Hood (vocals/bass) and Ashton Irwin (vocals/drums) - have won an American Music Award, a People's Choice Award, an iHeartRadio Music Award, five MTV European Music Awards, two ARIA Awards and an MTV Video Music Award.

The Monday and Tuesday editions of "The Voice" are the #1 and #2 alternative series of the 2017-18 season to date in both adults 18-49 and total viewers, and have combined to average a 2.6 rating in adults 18-49 and 12.2 million viewers overall in "live plus seven day" ratings from Nielsen Media Research. The current spring cycle opened on Feb. 26 with the show's highest results in the past 12 months in both 18-49 (a 3.5 rating in L+7) and total viewers (14.8 million).

"The Voice" is a presentation of MGM Television, Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Unscripted & Alternative Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Mark Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Chad Hines, Amanda Zucker, Kyra Thompson and Stijn Bakkers.
