LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- NBC has renewed its Dick Wolf-produced quartet "Chicago Fire," "Chicago Med," "Chicago P.D." and "Law & Order: SVU" for the 2018-19 season.
The news was confirmed by a network spokesperson this evening.
The Peacock further detailed the projects as follows:
"Chicago Fire" is averaging a 2.1 rating in 18-49 and 10.1 million viewers overall in L+7 Nielsens, to win the Thursday 10 p.m. timeslot versus the ABC and CBS competition in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers, while more than doubling its lead-ins in 18-49 and total viewers.
"Chicago Med" is averaging a 2.2 rating in 18-49 and 10.7 million viewers overall in L+7 Nielsens, to rank as NBC's #2 drama in total viewers, behind only "This Is Us." "Med" has gone undefeated this season in the Tuesday 10 p.m. hour versus its regular ABC and CBS drama competition in 18-49 (L+SD).
"Chicago P.D." has earned a 2.3 rating in adults 18-49 and 10.5 million viewers overall in "live plus seven day" Nielsens, to rank as the #2 10 p.m. drama on the broadcast networks in 18-49, behind only ABC's "The Good Doctor." "P.D." is also NBC's #2 drama in 18-49, behind only "This Is Us," and ranks #1 in its Wednesday 10 p.m. timeslot among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key measure (L+7 vs. regularly scheduled originals).
"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" is averaging a 2.2 rating in 18-49 and 8.9 million viewers overall in L+7 Nielsens, building by +38% on its lead-in in 18-49 and ranking #2 in the timeslot among the Big 4 networks in total viewers.
