Keegan-Michael Key joining Eddie Murphy in Netflix's "Dolemite Is My Name!"
The Rudy Ray Moore Biopic is Currently Filming in Los Angeles
Netflix announced today that Emmy Award winner Keegan-Michael Key (Key and Peele, Friends From College) will be co-starring in Dolemite Is My Name! alongside Eddie Murphy
The film is based on the real life story of Rudy Ray Moore and stars Eddie Murphy as Moore. Key will be playing Jerry Jones.
Key is next starring in Predator for Fox, in Season 2 of Netflix's Friends From College and voicing in The Lion King for Disney.

Logline: Real life story of the irreverent Rudy Ray Moore, a "larger than life" comedian, musician, singer, actor, and film producer in the 1970's. When he couldn't get work in Hollywood, he simply created his own - including the most well-known Blaxploitation film of all time, Dolemite.
Filming began June 11 around Los Angeles
Netflix will launch the film in 2019
