NETFLIX ACQUIRES BERT MARCUS' HIGHLY ANTICIPATED SOCIAL MEDIA DOCUMENTARY FILM "THE AMERICAN MEME"
Logline: With support from social media moguls DJ Khaled, Hailey Baldwin and Emily Ratajkowski, The American Meme explores the journeys of four distinct social media disruptors, Paris Hilton (@parishilton), Josh Ostrovsky (@TheFatJewish), Brittany Furlan (@brittanyfurlan) and Kirill Bichutsky (@slutwhisperer), as they hustle to build empires out of their online footprints, redefining the paradigm for the American Dream.
The critically acclaimed film had its world premiere earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival. The Netflix Original Documentary will be released globally December 2018
