SAVE THE DELI (NBC, New!) - Lauren Bachelis has sold a multi-camera comedy to the Peacock about "a 30-year-old woman, who much to the shock of her family, friends and mostly herself, becomes the new owner of her Chicago family deli after her grandfather dies. Naturally, her very opinionated staff and family members make the job unbearable since they all have conflicting ideas of how to save the deli." UNTITLED TAYLOR KITSCH PROJECT (HBO, New!) - Taylor Kitsch is attached to star in a new drama at the pay channel and Entertainment One about Chris Klug (Kitsch), "a young, family oriented, drug dealer who catches the wrong end of a bad batch of dope that leaves him in a temporary vegetative state, only to discover that it was no accident and someone close to him was in fact trying to take him out. Told through flashbacks and Chris' present-day purgatory, the series is a rich family drama full of revenge, love and humor as Chris Klug fights his way back." Writer John Barcheski and director Matt Shakman are behind the project with Robert Munic serving as showrunner. All three will executive produce alongside Kitsch. (Deadline.com)
