VICELAND SETS PREMIERE DATE FOR "DANNY'S HOUSE"

New Comedy-Talk Series Starring Hip-Hop Artist DANNY BROWN Debuts JULY 17 at 10:00PM

(June 11, 2019 -- Brooklyn, NY) -- VICELAND, the Emmy-winning youth lifestyle and entertainment network from VICE Media and A+E Networks, has set a July 17 (10PM) premiere date for Danny's House, a delightfully trippy new comedy series with hip-hop star Danny Brown.

An endlessly creative, critically acclaimed and comedic Detroit hip-hop force, Brown hosts the weekly psychedelic slumber party Danny's House. Combining the cozy energy of Mister Rogers, the unpredictability of Eric Andre and the friendly basement hang of Wayne's World, populated with wild neighbors and characters reminiscent of Pee-Wee's Playhouse (e.g. a voyeuristic telescope and talking burrito). Celebrity guests are invited to hang out in the basement (and mind) of Brown to talk about a specific theme each episode.

For the eight-episode series, Brown's guests include: rappers A$AP Rocky, Schoolboy Q, El-P and fellow Detroiters the Insane Clown Posse; comedians Ron Funches, Ilana Glazer, Nikki Glaser, Hannibal Buress and Gilbert Gottfried; as well as NBA Champion John Salley, UFC fighter Joanne Calderwood and WWE wrestler Hacksaw Jim Duggan and more. Episode topics running the gamut from U.F.O.'s, ghosts and A.I. to high school, dreams, music, fighting and style.

Danny's House is produced for VICELAND by Mustache TV, executive produced by Brown and Derrick Beckles (Adult Swim's The Eric Andre Show, Mostly 4 Millennials), Ari Fishman (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, VICELAND's Bong Appétit, F*ck That's Delicious) is co-EP. John Limotte is EP for Mustache TV and Nomi Ernst Leidner is EP for VICELAND.
