BETTER CALL SAUL (AMC) - Co-executive producer Alison Tatlock has signed a three-year overall deal with Sony Pictures Television. The pact covers her duties on the series as well as any future development. (Deadline.com)
BH90210 (FOX) - Denise Richards is the latest actor to drop by the series as "a heightened version of herself." She guest starred in the parent series as Kelly Taylor's cousin Robin McGill. (TVLine.com)
DYNASTY (The CW) - Daniella Alonso has signed onto the show's third season where she'll take over from Ana Brenda Contreras as Cristal Jennings. No specific reason was given for the change. (TVLine.com)
KATY KEENE (The CW) - Maggie Kiley, who helmed the pilot, has signed a multi-year overall deal with Warner Bros. Television. The pact gives the studio exclusive access to her directing services as well as calls for her to develop new series projects. (Deadline.com)
LEGACIES (The CW) - Alexis Denisof is slated to recur on the new season as Professor Vardemus, "a bit of a dandy, [Vardemus] wins over the Salvatore students with his steadfast belief in the superiority of their supernatural world." (TVLine.com)
MADE FOR LOVE (HBO Max) - Cristin Milioti has booked a lead role on the half-hour series, based on the tragicomic novel of the same name by Alissa Nutting. She'll play Hazel Green, "a thirtysomething woman on the run after 10 years in a suffocating marriage to Byron Gogol, an unstable, needy, possibly sociopathic tech billionaire. Soon she discovers that her husband has implanted a revolutionary monitoring device - the Made for Love chip - in her brain, allowing him to track her, watch her and know her thoughts and feelings as she tries to stay alive." NIGHTGOWNS (Quibi, New!) - "RuPaul's Drag Race" season nine winner Sasha Velour is set to topline a new eight-episode series at the short-form video service. The project "will follow Sasha Velour as she turns her brand of visually stunning high art into a full-on stage production - and the biggest drag showcase of her life." The Documentary Group is producing with music video director Sophie Muller also attached. (Deadline.com)
PENNY DREADFUL: CITY OF ANGELS (Showtime) - Sebastian Chacon is the latest bound for the spin-off series as Fly Rico, "the powerful leader of the Pachucos, a Latino 'Zoot Suit' gang. Rico exudes an irresistible bravado and is slick, smart and dangerous." (Deadline.com)
PLATFORM (FX, New!) - B.J. Novak has scored a pilot order for a potential half-hour anthology series which "uses the boldest issues of our times as a jumping-off point to tell singular, character-driven stories about the world we live in today." Production is underway on the FX Productions-based project, with Lucas Hedges, Jon Bernthal, Kaitlyn Dever, Boyd Holbrook, O'Shea Jackson Jr., George Wallace and Ed Asner all slated to appear. Novak is writing and directing two installments: "one is said to be more dramatic, tackling a tough subject, and the other more comedic, with a small animation element." (Deadline.com)
PROJECT BLUE BOOK (History) - Jerod Haynes is set to recur on the show's sophomore run as Daniel Banks: "A high-ranking, charismatic CIA operative, Dr. Hynek (Aidan Gillen) and Captain Michael Quinn (Michael Malarkey) first encounter Agent Daniel Banks at the top-secret Area 51. Soon, Agent Banks becomes a powerful and unpredictable new asset for our duo's quest for the truth in a UFO conspiracy that is growing increasingly dangerous." (Deadline.com)
P-VALLEY (Starz) - Josh Ventura has scored a recurring role on the newcomer as Wayne Kyle, "a preppy scion of the deep-rooted, cotton-farming Kyle clan. Following the death of his father, the former party boy is forced to take hold of the family's precarious finances - much to the dislike of his newly legitimized half-black, half-brother, Corbin." ROCKET MEN (Epix, New!) - Robert Kurson's book - which "tells the true story of the Apollo 8 mission as a stark example of what America was capable of in a time of dramatic violence and discord" - is being developed as a six-part limited series by the network. Darby Kealey is penning the project with Makeready's Brad Weston and Brillstein Entertainment's Jon Liebman also serving as executive producers. (Deadline.com 7/28)

UNTITLED BRIDGERTON PROJECT (Netflix) - Julie Anne Robinson has signed on to direct and executive produce the first episodes of the Shondaland-produced series, an adaptation of Julia Quinn's bestselling series of novels. Additionally, the project has cast Luke Thompson as Benedict Bridgerton; Will Tilston as Gregory Bridgerton; Florence Hunt as Hyacinth Bridgerton; Ruby Stokes as Francesca Bridgerton; Ben Miller as Lord Featherington; Bessie Carter as Prudence Featherington; Harriet Cains as Philippa Featherington; Martins Imhangbe as Will Mondrich; and Lorraine Ashbourne as Mrs. Varley. WICKED, KANSAS (Epix, New!) - Ron Shelton has sold "a darkly comedic western" to the pay channel. Frank Marshall also serves as an executive producer of the project, additional details of which weren't released. (Deadline.com, 7/28)
