DASH & LILY (Netflix) - Nick Jonas has launched his own production banner, Image 32. Said news is timed with the announcement of the company's eight-episode holiday series based on Rachel Cohn and David Levithan's YA book series earlier today. Austin Abrams and Midori Francis star in the title roles with Dante Brown (Boomer), Troy Iwata (Langston), Keana Marie (Sofia), James Saito (Arthur) and Jodi Long (Mrs. Basil E) also in principal roles. Joe Tracz is behind the project with Shawn Levy and Josh Barry of 21 Laps also executive producing and Cohn and Levithan as co-executive producers. Brad Silberling will direct and executive produce the first two episodes. (Deadline.com)
DICKINSON/FOR ALL MANKIND/HOME BEFORE DARK/LITTLE AMERICA/SEE (Apple TV+) - The streaming service has quietly ordered second seasons of all five series, in advance of its launch on Friday, November 1. They'll join "The Morning Show," which has originally commissioned with a two-season, 20-episode order. (Deadline.com)
EVIL (CBS) - Renée Elise Goldsberry is bound for the freshman drama in the recurring role of Renee Harris, "a dynamic, hard-driving attorney who works for the Catholic Church. She has a past connection with David: She's the sister of his late girlfriend Julia." (Deadline.com)
LUCIFER (Netflix) - Tricia Helfer's Charlotte has booked a return trip for the show's upcoming final season. (TVLine.com)
MADAM C.J. WALKER (Netflix) - Zahra Bentham and Mouna Traoré are the latest to be cast in the limited series. Bentham plays Nettie, "the sweet and proper wife of Ransom (Kevin Carroll)"; while Traoré portrays Esther, "a magnetic, artistic young woman who works on the makeshift assembly line for Sarah's (Madam CJ Walker's) - products." MOST FUN WE EVER HAD, THE (HBO, New!) - Claire Lombardo is looking to bring her bestselling novel to the small screen at the pay channel. The project "follows four sisters, each struggling to exist in the shadow of their parents' idyllic marriage, whose lives are complicated by the unexpected return of the son one of them gave up for adoption fifteen years earlier." Lombardo will pen the script and co-executive produce with showrunner Anya Epstein; Bond Group Entertainment's Amy Adams and Stacy O'Neil; and Jaywalker Pictures' Laura Dern and Jayme Lemons executive producing. Kate Clifford will serve as a co-producer. (Deadline.com)
STAND, THE (CBSAA) - Heather Graham is bound for the adaptation of Stephen King's novel as Rita Blakemoor, "a wealthy woman who is ill prepared for the end of the world and attempts to escape superflu-infested New York City." (Deadline.com)
SUNNYSIDE (NBC) - The Peacock has commissioned an extra episode of the canceled comedy series, bringing its total run to 11 episodes. Episodes will continue weekly on the NBC App and NBC.com following this Thursday's telecast. (TVLine.com)
THIS DAY IN USELESS CELEBRITY HISTORY (Quibi, New!) - Former Olympic ice skater Adam Rippon will host a new series for the streaming service which "will take viewers on a ride down memory lane, revisiting stars' breakups, makeups and other outrageous events from the early 2000s to the present day." Hearst Originals is producing. (Variety.com)
UNTITLED CASSIAN ANDOR SERIES (Disney+) - "Rogue One" co-writer Tony Gilroy has signed onto the Cassian Andor prequel series. He'll write the pilot as well as direct multiple episodes. Stephen Schiff serves as showrunner on the project, which is targeted for a 2021 launch. (Variety.com)
UNTITLED RICK FOX PROJECT (CBS, New!) - Dan Kopelman has scored a put pilot commitment from the Eye for a single-camera comedy which "centers on a recently retired pro basketball star who attempts to reconnect with his estranged son by buying an eSports franchise. The story is inspired by Rick Fox's real-life experiences of buying eSports company Gravity Gaming, which he relaunched in December 2015 as Echo Fox." Fox and Kopelman executive produce the Warner Bros. Television-based half-hour alongside Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor. (Deadline.com)
WEST WING, THE (NBC) - HBO Max has scored the streaming rights to the political drama, which currently airs on Netflix in the U.S. (Deadline.com)
