ALL RISE (CBS) - Ryan Michelle Bathe will recur on the freshman drama as Rachel Audubon, "a brilliant and fearless hi-profile, take-no-prisoners litigation attorney whose charm is her superpower. She is that rare trial lawyer who can practice in the areas of both civil and criminal litigation." (Deadline.com)
CAROL'S SECOND ACT (CBS) - Kelsey Grammer will drop by the show's March 12 season finale as Richard, "a formidable force who shocks Carol (Patricia Heaton) and the rest of the doctors at Loyola Memorial Hospital with a revelation that will affect all of them." EQUALIZER, THE (CBS) - Liza Lapira has been cast in the Queen Latifah-led reboot series pilot as Melody Chu: "An edgy bar owner with a wry sense of humor and sunny disposition, Melody is a former colleague of Robyn McCall's (Queen Latifah) with whom she's still great friends, and a highly decorated Air Force sniper in a previous life." EVEL (USA) - Sarah Gadon has booked the female lead on the Milo Ventimiglia-led limited series as Evel Knievel's wife, Linda: "Smart and cheeky, Linda knows her marriage isn't perfect but she remains loving and supportive as her husband's career takes off and fame engulfs their family." FAN GIRL (Peacock, New!) - Claudia Lonow has sold a single-camera comedy to the streaming service about "badass freedom fighter, Morrigan Chase. Morrigan escapes certain death in a far away galaxy via a wormhole and lands in the closet of her biggest Fan Girl - edibles-loving Beth - who's watching similar events unfold on her favorite show, Dominion. Each week, Beth and Morrigan battle evil as they try to get Morrigan back home while becoming unlikely best friends." The project is set up at the Universal Television-based Hazy Mills Productions with Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner also executive producing. (Deadline.com)
POWER BOOK III: RAISING KANAN (Starz) - Mekai Curtis is set as the title character in the spin-off series, a prequel story that takes viewers back to the '90s and the early years of iconic "Power" character Kanan Stark (Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson). In addition, Rob Hardy will direct the pilot and executive produce. (Deadline.com)
PRESIDENT IS MISSING, THE (Showtime) - Michael Rooker is the latest addition to the drama pilot as Greg Parkes, "the Special Agent in Charge of the Vice Presidential Protection Detail. REPUBLIC OF SARAH, THE (The CW) - Stella Baker has scored the title role on the drama pilot, in which "faced with the destruction of her town at the hands of a greedy mining company, rebellious high school history teacher Sarah Cooper (Baker) utilizes an obscure cartographical loophole to declare independence. Now Sarah must lead a young group of misfits as they attempt to start their own country from scratch." Baker's Sarah is "a quintessential New Hampshirite: friendly, fiercely loyal and always willing to lend a hand. SUMMER SISTERS (Hulu, New!) - Liz Tigelaar is spearheading a small screen take on Judy Blume's bestseller, which "chronicles the coming-of-age of two best friends and the relationship that defines their lives. Set on Martha's Vineyard, the story explores the beautiful, intoxicating, and everlasting impact of female friendship... and how it has the power to break your heart." UNTITLED KRISEL & SIMMS PROJECT (FX) - Lacretta has been cast opposite Chris Messina and Ari Graynor in the comedy pilot as Nancy, "a humorous immigrant from Grenada who now is the nanny for the son of Hunt (Messina) and Rachel (Graynor)." (Deadline.com)
VEGAS HIGH (HBO Max) - Coolio is slated to recur on the drama pilot as Ray, "a Las Vegas businessman who is uncle to the character of Olive, played by Kyanna Simpson." (Deadline.com)
WAYS & MEANS (CBS) - Amanda Warren has signed onto the Patrick Dempsey-led political drama pilot as Jerlene Brooks: "A former community organizer and progressive activist, Jerlene is a formidable Democratic congresswoman and rising star in the political arena.
