BLACK MATCH (Hulu, New!) - Elisabeth Moss is attached to star in an anthology series at the streaming service and Fox 21 Television Studios billed as "a psychosexual neo-noir thriller set in modern day Los Angeles." Writer Ian McCulloch and director Mike Barker are behind the project with Moss, Lindsey McManus and The Littlefield Company's Warren Littlefield also executive producing. Said news comes as the actress has signed a first-look deal with both Hulu and Fox 21 Television Studios to develop new series projects via her and McManus's newly launched Love & Squalor banner. (THR.com)
IF ONLY (Netflix) - The streaming service has nixed its latest Turkish original series after "producers were refused a filming license because of the existence of a gay character." Said report adds that "rather than caving to creative changes, Netflix decided to abandon the project." (Deadline.com)
POWER BOOK II: GHOST (Starz) - Sherri Saum is the latest addition to the series as Paula Matarazzo, "the top investigator and right-hand of [Cliff "Method Man" Smith]'s arrogant defense lawyer Davis MacLean." (Deadline.com)
REPEAT (CBS) - The Eye is taking another stab at importing Kurumi Inui's book-turned-Japanese TV series, in which "a group of strangers is mysteriously propelled back 10 months in time, giving them the chance to right wrongs, undo mistakes, and set their lives on a better path, these "repeaters" soon find that changing their fate is a tricky endeavor with unforeseen and even deadly consequences." David Zabel is behind the new take, succeeding David Hayter. Masi Oka and WindPower Entertainment's Sabrina Wind remain attached as executive producers for ABC Studios. (Deadline.com)
REVELATIONS (The CW, New!) - Maisie Culver has set up a potential drama at the netlet based on Stephen King's short story in which "after accidentally shooting herself in the brain with a nail gun, a Pollyanna-ish Becca Paulson is recruited by an over-it Jesus to be his "chosen one" in stopping the apocalypse. In order to save the world, Becca will have to prove that our deeply backward planet Earth is redeemable - starting with her quirky midwestern hometown." Warner Bros. Television is behind the hour with Katie Lovejoy executive producing and Culver as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
ROXY (FOX, New!) - Jennifer Crittenden and Gabrielle Allan have sold a single-camera comedy to the network about "two single women living together in Southern California in the swinging seventies: Diane, a newly divorced mom of two daughters, who is realizing she was fed a lot of bulls*t about happily ever afters, and Melanie, a promiscuous free spirit and enthusiastic early adopter of the birth control pill." FOX Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television are behind the half-hour with Brownstone Productions' Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman also executive producing and Dannah Shinder as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)
WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW, THE (Syndication) - The series will kick off its 12th season on September 21 following its recent production hiatus. (@wendyshow)
