BOSSY (ABC) - Hayes MacArthur is set to star opposite Lucy Liu in the comedy pilot as Dean: "Handsome and self-assured but not as charming as he thinks, Dean runs the manufacturing division at Devin's (Liu) multi-million dollar furniture company. Though he comes across as confident and cocky, he's actually quite insecure because he has made work his whole focus. He is clearly threatened when Annie becomes Devin's protege." (Deadline.com)
CELEBRITY HUNTED: CACCIA ALL'UOMO (Amazon) - The streaming service has commissioned a second season of the Italian reality series. (Deadline.com)

EVERYBODY LOVES DIAMONDS (Amazon, New!) - Fremantle's Wildside has booked a new "heist series with a comedic twist" at the company which "will follow a team of small-time Italian thieves who manage to deceive top-level security to steal millions of dollars' worth of precious stones from the Antwerp Diamond Centre." Stefano Bises, Michele Astori, Giulio Carrieri and Bernardo Pellegrini are writing the project, with Mario Gianani and Lorenzo Gangarossa producing. (Deadline.com)
GENERATION (HBO Max) - The half-hour dramedy has cast the following in recurring roles: Anthony Keyvan as Pablo, "Riley's (Chase Sui Wonders) ex-hookup buddy/classmate"; Diego Josef as Cooper, "underneath he's a sweet and genuine kid who's trying to understand and connect with his transgender brother"; J. August Richards as Joe, "Arianna's (Nathanya Alexander) dad, married to Patrick"; John Ross Bowie as "Arianna's (Alexander) dad, a former "straight" evangelical who is now married to Joe"; Mary Birdsong as Mrs. Culpepper, "a former girl scout, current leader of the GSA"; Patricia De Leon as Sela, "Greta's (Haley Sanchez) mom, old-school to the core, a God-fearing woman who honors tradition"; and Sydney Mae Diaz as J, "the stoner philosopher of the group with a lofty mindset and obsession with roof topping and the tantra." JET SET (Netflix, New!) - Studio Lambert has set up an ambitious reality project at the streaming service which "will fly contestants to a tropical location, where they will commune and compete in a series of challenges and dilemmas in a bid to win a big cash prize." NATE'S (ABC, New!) - Akilah Green has sold a multi-camera comedy to the Alphabet about "a black-owned, Washington, D.C. dive bar that has been serving drinks for the last 10 presidential administrations. This beloved cultural institution serves as a sanctuary for the congressional staffers, Metro workers, Beltway socialites, and other regulars who frequent it." 3 Arts Entertainment's Katie Newman and Luke Maxwell will also executive produce for 20th Television. TRUTH BE TOLD (Apple TV+) - Kate Hudson has signed onto the show's second season as Micah Keith, "a lifestyle guru and longtime friend of Poppy Parnell (Octavia Spencer), as a new case that deeply involves both women unfolds and quickly puts their relationship to the ultimate test." Filming on the new season is set to begin in Los Angeles on October 26. (Deadline.com)
WOMEN OF THE MOVEMENT, THE (ABC) - Tony nominee Adrienne Warren ("Tina: The Tina Turner Musical") is the first to be cast in the limited series: "After the brutal murder of her son in the Jim Crow South, Mamie (Warren), a soft-spoken young mother in Chicago, put her own life on the line to seek justice in his name. Unwilling to let Emmett's murder disappear from the headlines, Mamie chose to bear her pain on the world's stage, and as a result ignited the civil rights movement as we know it today."
