AMERICAN GIGOLO (Showtime) - Gretchen Mol has been cast in the Jon Bernthal-led film-turned-TV series about Julian Kaye, "who is introduced 18 years after he's been arrested for murder and struggling to find his footing in the Los Angeles sex industry, while seeking the truth about the setup that sent him to prison all those years ago and also hoping to reconnect with Michelle (Mol), his one true love." Richard Gere and Lauren Hutton originated said roles in the feature. (Deadline.com)
BOSCH (Amazon) - The series has paused filming "for one week due to a positive COVID-19 test, which was received yesterday as part of the show's rigorous safety protocols." (Deadline.com)
DEAR WHITE PEOPLE (Netflix) - Producer Lionsgate Television has "paused filming for two weeks after several team members tested positive for [COVID-19]." (Deadline.com)
NONE OF THE ABOVE (Freeform) - The single-camera comedy pilot has cast Gregg Wayans as Cannon, "a self-assured, witty guy who is always open to new experiences... except when he's suddenly not"; Asjha Cooper as Valencia, "a strong-willed woman of devout faith, whose drive to succeed can often border on obsessive and gets her into trouble"; Ron Taylor as Mo, "a perpetually laid-back 22-year-old entrepreneur, who's an advocate of the Black community, Black culture; just an all-around fan of Blackness"; Justin Miles as Ryan, "a fun guy who goes all in for his friends; whether it's throwing a barbecue for them or starting a bar fight on their behalf"; and Katelyn Tarver as Cydney, "Ryan's wife, a practical yet tenacious woman who speaks her mind on saving the environment, and if there's any time left, will squeeze in her views on human rights issues as well." SOPHIE TOSCAN DU PLANTIER DOCUMENTARY SERIES (Netflix, New!) - Lightbox has sold a three-part documentary series to the streaming service about Sophie Toscan du Plantier, "a French film and TV producer who was killed while at her isolated holiday cottage in West Cork, Ireland, just days before Christmas in 1996." John Dower is attached to direct, while Simon Chinn, Jonathan Chinn, and Suzanne Lavery will executive produce and Sarah Lambert produce. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED BALDWIN/GRAMMER PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Emmy winners Alec Baldwin and Kelsey Grammer are attached to star in a new multi-camera comedy at the Alphabet about "three men - two of them played by Grammer and Baldwin - who were roommates in their 20s until their warring egos drove them apart. They reunite decades later for one more run at the lives they've always wanted." Christopher Lloyd and Vali Chandrasekaran are behind the 20th Television-based project, which has a straight-to-series order. Jason Schrift, Matt DelPiano, Tom Russo, Adam Griffin and Jeff Morton will also executive produce alongside said quartet. (Deadline.com)
WONDER GIRL (The CW, New!) - Dailyn Rodriguez has booked a small screen take on DC Comics' upcoming heroine Yara Flor, "a Latina Dreamer who was born of an Amazonian Warrior and a Brazilian River God, learns that she is Wonder Girl. With her newfound power must fight the evil forces that would seek to destroy the world." Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and David Madden will also executive produce via their Warner Bros.
