DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (The CW) - Aliyah O'Brien is the latest set to recur on the new season as Kayla, "a fearsome warrior with a high body count and low patience for human incompetence. She'll be put through her paces working with and against the Legends as she's certainly not used to messing anything up much less for the better." (Deadline.com)
GAME TIME (CBS, New!) - Dan Kopelman is developing a single-camera comedy at the Eye and CBS Studios based on Norwegian series "The Games," which "revolves around a family whose daily life is punctuated by the running commentary of professional sideline sports reporters, and the occasional expert in their field." The project, which has a penalty attached, is also executive produced by Aaron Kaplan and Dana Honor of Kapital Entertainment; Wendi Trilling of Trill TV; Michael Strahan, Constance Schwartz-Morini and Thea Mann of SMAC Entertainment; Todd Lituchy of New Media Vision; Shirley Bowers of Red Arrow Studios International; and Martin Lund and Ruben Thorkildsen. (Deadline.com)
GIRL BEFORE, THE (HBO Max, New!) - Gugu Mbatha-Raw is set to star in a four-part series for BBC One which follows Jane, "a traumatized woman who falls in love with an extraordinary minimalist house, which remains under the spell of the architect who originally designed it. But when she discovers that another damaged woman died in the same One Folgate Street property three years earlier, she starts to wonder if her own story is just a rerun of the girl before." The project, which is in talks to land at HBO Max, is based on J.P. Delaney's best-selling psychological thriller of the same name. Delaney himself is overseeing the adaptation with Marissa Lestrade co-writing episodes and Lisa Brühlmann attached to direct. ITV Studios is distributing while 42, a U.K.-based management and production company, is producing. (Deadline.com)
GODFATHER OF HARLEM (Epix) - Grace Porter has scored a recurring role on the show's sophomore run as Betty Shabazz, "the wife of Malcolm X (Nigél Thatch)." (Deadline.com)
HERESY (TNT, New!) - John Herrera and Nina Fiore are looking to bring Melissa Lenhardt's book of the same name to the small screen at the cable channel. The project is billed as "a female-driven, queer, transgender, multiracial takeover of the West like we've never seen before. Led by our two heroines, a group of women transform themselves into a legendary outlaw gang because the only way for a woman to claim her right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness in America is to steal it." Bruce Miller, Priscilla Porianda and Robert Lawrence will also executive produce for Miller's MGM Television-based White Oak Pictures. (Deadline.com)
RIVERDALE (The CW) - Chris Mason has scored a multi-episode arc on the new season as Chad Gekko, "Veronica's (Camila Mendes) controlling and jealous husband who works on Wall Street. An Alpha dog, Chad is threatened by Veronica's life in Riverdale, especially her friendship with Archie (KJ Apa)." (Deadline.com)
SIDE HUSTLE (Nickelodeon) - The cable channel has extended the freshman comedy by picking up seven additional episodes, bringing its season total to 20. (Variety.com)
WALKER (The CW) - Rebekah Graf has booked a recurring role on the reboot series as Crystal, "a bright eyed, wild and charming woman, the type who married an unhinged criminal because he promised her an exciting life. She is reckless and lies with ease, but there is a humanity beneath her." (Deadline.com)
