ANCHORED (Netflix, New!) - Writer/director Marcos Bucay has booked "Fondeados," a comedy series at the streamer which "turns on two friends, whose dreams of becoming tech titans after creating an app during one drunken night come crashing down when they can't remember a thing the next day." No other details were given. (Variety.com)
BLACK LIGHTNING (The CW) - Melissa De Sousa will recur on the show's final season as Anna Lopez, "Freeland's new chief of police whose views on the metahuman population differ from the late Chief Henderson - in that she sees them as "freaks" and equally as bad as The 100 gang." (TVLine.com)
CHI, THE (Showtime) - Tabitha Brown and Jason Weaver will recur on the upcoming season while Curtiss Cook's Douda has been promoted to regular. Brown will play Octavia, "a successful interior designer who fortuitously crosses paths with Kiesha (Birgundi Baker)"; while Weaver will portray Rahsaad "Shaad" Marshall, "an old friend of Trig's (Luke James) who is struggling to rebuild his life." EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE (Netflix, New!) - Diego Luna is spearheading "Todo Va a Estar Bien," a comedy series at the streamer which "explores present-day issues roiling families and relationships." La Corriente del Golfo and Exile Content are producing while Luna is creating and directing. (Variety.com)
GO ON (Netflix, New!) - Director Alejandro Fernandez is behind "Dale Gas" at the streamer, "a high-octane series set in the world of car racing and heists in Mexico City." Andrés Calderón and Juliana Florez are also executive producing for Dynamo. (Variety.com)
GREATEST, THE (Amazon, New!) - Michael B. Jordan's Outlier Society and Jay-Z's Roc Nation are set to team for a limited series about iconic boxer and civil rights hero Muhammad Ali at Amazon Studios. Josh Wakely is penning the project, which will have Ali's estate involved. (Deadline.com)
NANCY DREW/TOM SWIFT (The CW) - Ruben Garcia has been tapped to helm the backdoor pilot installment of the series, due later this year. Tian Richards stars as the title character in the episode, the 15th of season two. (Deadline.com)
NEIGHBORS WAR (Netflix, New!) - Vanessa Bauche and Ana Layevska are set to star in "Guerra de Vecinos," a comedy series at the streamer that "turns on two battling neighbors in an upscale neighborhood." Carolina Rivera and Fernando Sariñana are the creators. (Variety.com)
REVENGE OF THE JUANAS (Netflix, New!) - Lemon Films is back in business with the streamer for "La Venganza de las Juanas," which "revolves around five female strangers who share an identical birthmark that will lead them to hunt for the scoundrel who cheated on their respective mothers." SPOOK WHO SAT BY THE DOOR, THE (FX) - The network's Sam Greenlee adaptation is heading to pilot. Writer Leigh Dana Jackson and director Gerard McMurray are spearheading the project, billed as "the fictional story of Dan Freeman, the first African American CIA officer hired by the agency in the late 1960s." Lee Daniels and Marc Velez also executive produce for 20th Television. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED JAMES SCHAMUS PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - James Schamus is set to team with Monika Revilla and Fernanda Melchor for a yet-to-be-revealed Spanish-language drama, set to debut on the streaming service later this year.
