Disney and Pixar's 'Finding Dory' and Academy Award(R)-nominated Disney and Pixar's 'Incredibles 2' to Make World Broadcast Debuts
ABC is bringing more Disney magical moments into homes with the return of "The Wonderful World of Disney" film series on Monday nights beginning May 3. Throughout the entire month, ABC will air iconic titles currently available to stream on Disney+, beginning with the broadcast debuts of both Disney and Pixar's "Finding Dory" and Academy Award(R)-nominated Disney and Pixar's "Incredibles 2," followed by Walt Disney Animation Studios' "Tangled" and "The Princess and the Frog," and Academy Award-winning Disney and Pixar's "Monsters, Inc."
Presenting these iconic films on ABC is one of many ways The Walt Disney Company is bringing the magic of Disney into homes right now. "The Wonderful World of Disney: Incredibles 2" - Monday, May 3 (8:00-10:30 p.m. EDT)
Helen (Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of "normal" life at home with Violet, Dash and baby Jack-Jack - whose superpowers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don't shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That's what makes this family so Incredible.
"The Wonderful World of Disney: Finding Dory" - Monday, May 10 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT)
When Dory, the forgetful blue tang (Ellen DeGeneres), suddenly remembers she has a family who may be looking for her, she, Marlin (Albert Brooks) and Nemo (Hayden Rolence) take off on a life-changing quest to find them ... with help from Hank, a cantankerous octopus; Bailey, a beluga whale who's convinced his biological sonar skills are on the fritz; and Destiny, a nearsighted whale shark!
"The Wonderful World of Disney: Monsters, Inc." - Monday, May 17 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT)
Lovable Sulley (John Goodman) and his wisecracking sidekick Mike Wazowski (Billy Crystal) are the top scare team at MONSTERS, INC., the scream-processing factory in Monstropolis. When a little girl named Boo wanders into their world, it's the monsters who are scared silly, and it's up to Sulley and Mike to keep her out of sight and get her back home.
"The Wonderful World of Disney: Tangled" - Monday, May 24 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT)
When the kingdom's most wanted - and most charming - bandit, Flynn Rider (Zachary Levi), hides out in a mysterious tower, he's taken hostage by Rapunzel (Mandy Moore), a beautiful and feisty tower-bound teen with 70 feet of magical, golden hair. Flynn's curious captor, who's looking for her ticket out of the tower where she's been locked away for years, strikes a deal with the handsome thief, and the unlikely duo sets off on an action-packed escapade, complete with a super-cop horse (Maximus), an over-protective chameleon (Pascal) and a gruff gang of pub thugs.
"The Wonderful World of Disney: The Princess and the Frog" - Monday, May 31 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EDT)
Set in the great city of New Orleans, this is a modern twist on a classic tale featuring a beautiful girl named Tiana (Anika Noni Rose), a frog prince who desperately wants to be human again, and a fateful kiss that leads them both on a hilarious adventure through the mystical bayous of Louisiana.
