61ST STREET (AMC) - Mark O'Brien has signed on the courtroom drama series as Logan, "a legacy Chicago police officer. When a murder occurs on the streets during a drug bust gone wrong, he's forced to question his commitment to the department while examining his own morality." (Deadline.com)
AT THAT AGE (NBC) - Adrian Holmes, Nicole Ari Parker, Brad James and Jade Eschete have all been cast in the drama pilot, billed as an exploration of a Harlem family's legacy. Holmes will play Ellington Cooper, "the oldest of the Cooper children and second in command at Cooper Corporation. He's charming, savvy, confident and has lots of presence and swagger." Parker then is Samantha Cooper, "Avery's wife. She's smart but has become content to stay at home and reap the benefits of the Cooper wealth and name." James has been cast as Justin Carmichael, "Victoria's husband. He struggles to get the focus and attention of his alpha wife." And Eshete is Sydney Cooper, "Layton's estranged wife. She has a likeable innocence about her, attracted to wounded souls." Additionally, Bailey Bass will guest star as Kendall Cooper, "the strong-willed teenage daughter of a prominent Harlem family." BEAR, THE (FX) - Jeremy Allen White is set to star in the comedy pilot, about a young chef who returns to Chicago to run the family restaurant. Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Abby Elliott and Matty Matheson will also star in the project, however no other character details were released. (Deadline.com)
BULL (CBS) - Showrunner Glenn Gordon Caron and co-star Freddy Rodriguez will not return for the series' sixth season. The former's exit comes after producer CBS Studios launched an investigation into multiple departures of the writing staff after production wrapped for season five. Said report indicates Caron "fostered a disrespectful work environment during his four-year tenure." Kathryn Price and Nichole Millard will take over as co-showrunners. As for Rodriguez, the actor is also exiting after a workplace investigation. No other specifics were given by the studio. (THR.com)
BULLETPROOF (The CW) - Original broadcaster Sky has canceled the series "after multiple sexual misconduct allegations emerged about the show's lead Noel Clarke." Adding, "the broadcaster made its decision based on findings from an internal investigation carried out by 'Bulletproof' producers Vertigo." Pre-production had been underway on an eight-episode fourth season. (Variety.com)
CALL MY AGENT! (Amazon, New!) - Amazon Prime Video has acquired the U.K. and Ireland rights to the British remake of hit French series. Jack Davenport, Lydia Leonard, Maggie Steed, Prasanna Puwanarajah and Jim Broadbent star in the project, while Kelly Macdonald, Helena Bonham Carter and Olivia Williams will make cameo appearances. Filming is underway in London with John Morton writing and directing the first two episdoes. (Deadline.com)
CROSSOVER, THE (Disney+) - Jayln Hall and Amir O'Neil are the first to be cast in the drama pilot, which tells the story of 14-year-old basketball phenom brothers, Josh and JB Bell. The boys come of age on and off the court as their former pro-baller father adjusts to life after basketball and matriarch mother finally gets to pursue dreams of her own. Hall stars as Filthy aka Josh while O'Neil plays Jordan. (Deadline.com)
FIVE DAYS AT MEMORIAL (Apple TV+) - Molly Hager is the latest addition to the limited series as Virginia Rider, "a special agent with the state's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit." (Deadline.com)
POWER BOOK IV: FORCE (Starz) - Grammy-nominated artist Jeremih (Jeremy P. Felton) will recur on the spin-off series as Elijah, "a high-ranking member of CBI who knows how the drug game is played and isn't afraid to bend the rules. As the closest ally of Jenard Sampson (Kris D. Lofton), there's nothing he won't do to prove his loyalty to both the Sampson brothers." (Deadline.com)
