BIG BROTHER (CBS) - Nine crew members on the series have tested positive for COVID-19. Production on the show however has not been impacted. (Deadline.com)
BIG SKY (ABC) - Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Madelyn Kientz, Troy Johnson, Lola Reid, Jeremy Ray Taylor, T.V. Carpio and Arturo Del Puerto are all bound for the show's second season in recurring roles. The series regulars this season include Katheryn Winnick as Jenny Hoyt, Kylie Bunbury as Cassie Dewell, Brian Geraghty as Ronald Pergman, Dedee Pfeiffer as Denise Brisbane, Omar Metwally as Mark Lindor, Anja Savcic as Scarlet Leyendecker and Janina Gavankar as Ren. DARK WINDS (AMC) - Noah Emmerich has signed onto the "Western noir thriller" series as Whitover, "a burned-out FBI agent whose once-promising career is dying on the vine. A brazen robbery puts him back in the big time, but first he must enlist the help of the Navajo Tribal Police led by Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn." (Deadline.com)
DYNASTY (The CW) - Eliza Bennett is bound for the current season as Amanda Carrington, "the long-lost Carrington relative, born and raised in Europe, who arrives on the Carrington doorstep bringing with her a treasure trove of secrets from their past... and hers." She'll be promoted to regular for its already ordered fifth season. (Deadline.com)
GREY'S ANATOMY (ABC) - Peter Gallagher has booked a recurring role on the new season as Dr. Alan Hamilton, "who knew Ellis Grey (Kate Burton) back in the day and meets Meredith (Ellen Pompeo)." (Deadline.com)
PUNKY BREWSTER (Peacock) - The streamer has nixed the Soleil Moon Frye-led reboot series after one season. "Punky Brewster was a beloved series that tackled meaningful storylines with so much heart," said Lisa Katz, President, Scripted, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. "It was a bright light for so many viewers and we are forever grateful to Universal Studio Group, the producers, the cast and crew and especially to Soleil Moon Frye for reigniting the Punky Power within everyone." SUPER PUMPED (Showtime) - Hank Azaria has been cast as Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, in the anthology series. He joins the previously announced Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kyle Chandler, and Kerry Bishé. (Variety.com)
SWAT (CBS) - David DeSantos is slated to recur on the upcoming fifth season as Rodrigo Sanchez, "a 20-year LAPD veteran and former SWAT member. Sanchez is a gregarious, confident, and savvy political climber who left SWAT in pursuit of loftier jobs within the LAPD." (Deadline.com)
WALKING DEAD, THE: WORLD BEYOND (AMC) - Anna Khaja is the latest to recur on the show's second season. She'll play Indira, "an intelligent, artistic leader and mother who will do whatever it takes to protect her family and her people from harm." (Deadline.com)
