Back-To-Back Comedy Specials "Entre Nos: The Winners 2" And "Entre Nos: What She Said" To Debut Today Friday, October 1

Back-to-back specials of the hit comedy series Entre Nos will air on HBO Latino on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 1 starting with ENTRE NOS: THE WINNERS 2 (10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT) followed by ENTRE NOS: WHAT SHE SAID (10:30-11:00 p.m. ET/PT). Both will be available to stream on HBO Max.

ENTRE NOS: THE WINNERS 2 features Cisco Duran and Abi Sanchez, the winners of the second HBO & NYLFF Annual Latino Stand-Up! Comedy Competition. Duran, a Miami native, offers his hilarious perspective on the pros and cons of being Black and Dominican, and he surprises us with the unexpected perks that come with gaining a few extra pounds. Chicagoan Abi Sanchez, on the other hand, opens up about his identity struggles and wonders how adults with children find time to enjoy themselves. HBO Latino's Entre Nos: The Winners 2 highlights, for the second year in a row, the freshest emerging voices in the Latino comedy scene.

Currently celebrating its third edition, the Annual Latino Stand-Up! Comedy Competition is a partnership between HBO and the New York Latino Film Festival (NYLFF) to find the best Latino stand-up comedians around the country. The contest is designed to support emerging talent and increase awareness and representation of Latino voices in the comedy industry. The finalists performed at a virtual event last December, hosted by one of the 2019 Latino Stand-Up! Winners, Mark Viera. You can watch Entre Nos: The Winners on HBO Max.

ENTRE NOS: WHAT SHE SAID is an all-female episode featuring two of the wittiest and most original voices in today's comedy scene: Shari Diaz and Jessica Keenan. New Yorker and Guatemalan Shari Diaz explains to a live audience why her father thinks her life is a joke, and Mexican-Lebanese and Vegas native Jessica Keenan wonders why her husband can't find anything around the house. With this new and hilarious episode, Shari Diaz and Jessica Keenan join the incredible group of Latina comedians highlighted in the Entre Nos series, including Gina Brillon, Kim Congdon, Monica Escobedo, Vanessa Gonzalez, Christine Medrano, Shayla Rivera, Aida Rodriguez, Marlena Rodriguez, and Liss Pereira.

Previous episodes of HBO Latino's Entre Nos series include: LA Meets NY (2020), The Winners (2020), About Last Night (2019), Spot On(2019), The Series (2018), Part 4 (2018), Part 3 (2018), Part 2 (2017), and Part 1 (2017). Also available to stream on HBO Max are the seven Entre Nos Presents comedy specials: Frankie Quiñones: Superhomies (2021), Nick Guerra: Love Me at My Worst (2020), Shayla Rivera: It's Not Rocket Science (2020), Jerry Garcia: It's Not My Weekend (2019), Gina Brillon: Easily Offended (2019), Erik Rivera: Super White (2019), and Orlando Leyba: Adorable (2018).
