BETTER THINGS (FX) - Pamela Adlon has indicated the upcoming fifth season of her comedy series will be its last. "I will forever be grateful to FX for allowing me to tell stories the way I see the world and want the world to be seen," Adlon said in a statement. "Making this show has been film school for me. I bow down to my crew and my cast. And I can't wait for people to discover and re-discover Better Things. This is gonna be a wrap on Sam Fox (for now). See you at the after party." (Deadline.com)
DASH & LILY (Netflix) - The streamer has passed on a second season for its holiday romantic comedy series. (Deadline.com)
DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (The CW) - Wentworth Miller will reprise his role as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold in the show's landmark 100th episode, due to air on October 27. (Deadline.com)
ID (HBO Max, New!) - The streamer has commissioned a six-part drama which revolves around Emma, "a Finnish art fraud investigator who goes undercover to infiltrate an auction house in Stockholm and investigate the firm's connection to a notorious money launderer known as "Blanko." As part of her cover, the calm, professional Emma takes on the identity of Annika, a hot-headed socialite known for her wild party lifestyle. But taking on this new persona forces Emma to confront memories from her past that she has been spending her life trying to forget." Mia Ylönen and Aleksi Bardy of Helsinki-Filmi are behind the project, with Christian Wikander and Steve Matthews also executive producing. (THR.com)
MAYANS M.C. (FX) - Co-executive producer Debra Moore Muñoz has signed an overall deal with FX Production. There she'll develop new series projects via her Apogee Films banner. (Deadline.com)
OUR KIND OF PEOPLE (FOX) - Melissa De Sousa and McKinley Freeman are the latest to recur on the newcomer. De Sousa will play Alex Rivera: "Attractive and savvy, Alex Rivera is an accomplished financial reporter and Raymond's (Morris Chestnut's) ex-wife."
