AGT: EXTREME (NBC) - Production on the spin-off series has been paused after a contestant suffered a terrifying accident. "During a rehearsal last evening for America's Got Talent: Extreme, an accident occurred in which escape artist Jonathan Goodwin was injured while performing his act," a spokesperson told the publication. "He was responsive and was immediately taken to the hospital where he is continuing to receive medical care. Our thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family as we await further updates on his condition." (Deadline.com)
B POSITIVE (CBS) - Creator Marco Pennette has stepped down as co-showrunner of the comedy series. Jim Patterson will remain as its sole showrunner. (Deadline.com)
ECHOES (Netflix) - The Michelle Monaghan-led limited series has cast Michael O'Neill as Victor McCleary, "the father of Leni and Gina"; Celia Weston as Georgia Taylor, "Dylan James' grandmother"; Gable Swanlund as Mathilda "Mattie" Beck, "daughter of Leni and Jack (Matt Bomer)"; Tyner Rushing as Maria McCleary, "the mother of Leni and Gina"; twins Hazel Mason and Ginger Mason as young Leni and Gina; Alise Willis as Meg, "Leni's best friend and Dylan's cousin"; and Maddie Nichols as Natasha, "the babysitter Jack hires to watch Mattie in Leni's absence." IRON MIKE (Hulu) - The Trevante Rhodes-led limited series about Mike Tyson has cast Harvey Keitel as Cus D'Amato, "Tyson's first trainer, mentor and eventually adoptive father"; Laura Harrier as Robin Givens, "the actress and Tyson's first wife who is beautiful and outspoken"; Grace Zabriskie as Camille D'Amato, "Cus' wife who considers Mike a son - and is shocked when Robin confronts her about Mike paying her mortgage"; Olunike Adeliyi as Lorna Mae, "Mike's mother, who's been hardened by a system designed to keep her down"; and T.J. Atoms as Barkim, "a thief and early friend of Mike's who recognizes the young boxer's talent." (THR.com)
OUTFIELDER (Netflix, New!) - Writer/director Robert O'Hara is on track to land a new limited series at the streamer about the life of 19-year old Los Angeles Dodger Glenn Burke, "who on Oct. 2, 1977 delivered the first recorded high five. That's when Dusty Baker hit his 30th home run during the last game of the regular season, landing himself in a group of three other Dodgers who had also hit 30 home runs." The report adds, "Burke, who played for the Dodgers and Oakland Athletics from 1976 to 1979, was the first MLB player to come out as gay to his teammates and team owners during his professional career and the first to publicly acknowledge it." Jamie Lee Curtis and Ryan Murphy are also among the auspices. (Deadline.com)
