BE MINE (The CW, New!) - Writer John Bellina and director Lauren Miller Rogen are set to team for a potential drama at the netlet about "four female college freshmen who discover an old '90s board game featuring a tacky oversized pink phone and a dozen handsome "hunks" just waiting for a call. But when they drunkenly play the game, they unwittingly unleash the game's hunks into the real world, and soon discover that these "dream guys" are total nightmares hellbent on destroying all womankind." Rogen, Jennifer Ray, Marty Bowen, Wyck Godfrey and Adam Fishbach are the executive producers for Lylas Pictures, Temple Hill Entertainment and CBS Studios with Bellina as a co-executive producer. BODY FARM (CBS, New!) - Aadrita Mukerji has sold a potential drama to the Eye which "follows a talented but acerbic New York City forensic pathologist, who after a public fall from grace renders her nearly unemployable, takes a job with an old-school coroner on his body farm in rural Texas where they covertly investigate mysterious deaths." Carol Mendelsohn and Julie Weitz of the Universal Television-based Carol Mendelsohn Productions will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
CROWN, THE (Netflix) - Filming on the show's fifth season has been wrapped "one day earlier than planned for the Christmas break following a few positive cases within the team, thus ensuring others' safety and so that everyone on production can enjoy a festive break with their loved ones." GHOSTS (CBS) - The Montreal-based series has paused production on its season finale "after an individual on the set of the series tested positive for COVID-19." Filming is expected to resume in January to wrap the finale. (Variety.com)
HEAD OF THE CLASS (HBO Max) - The streamer has pulled the plug on the reboot series after one season. (Deadline.com)
HONOR (NBC, New!) - Jamie Pachino is developing a domestic take on the Swedish legal drama "Heder" at the network, which follows "four brilliant, brash legal minds willing to fight for the underdog, disenfranchised and powerless. The women will be battling a brutal crime, spiraling mystery and a shocking discovery about the truth that threatens to unravel their very carefully constructed lives." Maria Bello, Carol Mendelsohn, Julie Weitz, Chris Philip and Karine Martin are also executive producing for Carol Mendelsohn Productions, Starlings Television and Universal Television. (Deadline.com)
HOW WE ROLL (CBS) - The Pete Holmes-led comedy has cast the following in recurring roles: Tahj Mowry as Lew, "Tom's best friend who works at the bowling alley"; Rondi Reed as Ruth, "Jen's boss, and the owner of Uptown Beauty Salon"; Judy Kain as Mimi, "a regular at the bowling alley"; Amanda Perez as Tia, "a hair stylist at the beauty salon with Jen"; and Matt McCarthy as Carl, "Tom's bowling nemesis and always around to trade insults and jabs." LOVE & DEATH (HBO Max) - Texas Monthly has signed a three-year first-look deal with HBO and HBO Max. The pact gives the companies first crack at the publication's potential TV output. (Deadline.com)
MONROES & TONY, THE (CBS, New!) - Malik S. has sold a multi-camera comedy to the Eye which "revolves around an ambitious but everyday guy who creates a blended family between his 9-year-old stepson, new wife, and her superstar ex-husband who, despite his fame and wealth, misses the connection of family." Cedric the Entertainer, Aaron Kaplan, Wendy Trilling, Eric Rhone, Peter Principato and Kevin Parker will also executive produce for CBS Studios, Kapital Entertainment, TrillTV, Artists First and A Bird and A Bear Entertainment. NEW AMSTERDAM (NBC) - Co-star Ryan Eggold has signed a new first-look deal with Universal Television, producer of the medical drama. He'll develop new series projects via his Analog A Productions banner. (Deadline.com)
TREASON (Netflix, New!) - Olga Kurylenko, Oona Chaplin and Charlie Cox are set to star in a new six-part series at the streamer: "The drama follows Adam Lawrence, trained and groomed by MI6, whose career seems set. But when the past catches up with him in the form of Kara, a Russian spy with whom he shares a complicated past, he is forced to question everything and everyone in his life. A triangular relationship forms between Kara, Adam and his wife, Maddy; three people who are trying to expose each other's secrets, navigate political and diplomatic relationships, whilst hanging onto their personal lives, and those they love most." Binocular Productions' Matt Charman is behind the project with Foz Allan and Valery Ryan also executive producing and Louise Hooper directing. (Deadline.com)
YELLOWSTONE (Paramount Network) - Sibling Paramount+ will serve up a two-part special, "ET Presents: Yellowstone Aftershow," on Sunday, December 19 and 26 at 9:00/8:00c, immediately following the "Yellowstone" episode on Paramount Network. Cassie DiLaura hosts the special, which will feature the cast, led by Kevin Costner, and co-creator/executive producer Taylor Sheridan. (Deadline.com)
