PEACOCK ANNOUNCES AN ALL-STAR LINEUP OF TALENT FOR ITS EXCLUSIVE DAILY PROGRAMMING STREAMING THROUGHOUT THE WINTER OLYMPICS
Matt Iseman, Jonny Moseley, Ashley Wagner, Brian Boitano, Scott Hamilton, and Adnan Virk Provide In-Depth Coverage and Analysis of the Games
The Olympic Show, Olympic Ice, Winter Gold, and Top Highlights Will Stream for Free on Peacock's Olympic Spotlight Channel Beginning February 5
Today, Peacock announced the line-up of talent for its exclusive daily studio shows. Starting on February 5, comedian and television host Matt Iseman and former Olympic skier Jonny Moseley will host The Olympic Show and Olympic Ice, former Olympic figure skaters Ashley Wagner, Brian Boitano and Scott Hamilton will join as contributors on Olympic Ice, and sports broadcaster Adnan Virk will host Winter Gold. The daily programming slate including Top Highlights will stream for free on Peacock's Olympic Spotlight Channel.
MATT ISEMAN (The Olympic Show; Olympic Ice)
Matt Iseman is a comedian, actor and television host. He is best known as the host of the Emmy-nominated series American Ninja Warrior and has hosted spin-off series including American Ninja Warrior Junior on Peacock. Iseman's hosting experience is wide-ranging including the History Channel's Evel Live, A&E's Live Rescue, and the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular on NBC. Iseman won season eight of The New Celebrity Apprentice, where he raised more than $1 million for the Arthritis Foundation. Additionally, Iseman has appeared on Style Network's home makeover shows Clean House and Clean House Comes Clean, for which he won an Emmy, Hallmark Channel's Home & Family, plus hit shows Lip Sync Battle, Hollywood Game Night and Ellen's Game of Games. As a stand-up comic, Iseman has recurred on Comics Unleashed and is a regular on the national comedy club circuit.
JONNY MOSELEY (The Olympic Show; Olympic Ice)
Jonny Moseley is an Olympic gold medalist and World Cup champion mogul skier. A pioneer of the sport, Moseley introduced off axis tricks to moguls and is the first skier to medal in both the Olympics and X Games (Big Air). In 2007, he was inducted to the Ski Hall of Fame and was honored by the U.S. Olympic Committee in 1998 as "Sportsman of the Year." Moseley hosted Saturday Night Live, American Ninja Warrior and three seasons of MTV's reality competition show The Challenge as well as reunion specials for the network.
ASHLEY WAGNER (Olympic Ice)
Ashley Wagner is an Olympic bronze medalist and three-time U.S. National Champion figure skater. Wagner began skating at the age of five. She is the 2016 World Silver medalist, a Four Continents Champion, a three-time Grand Prix Final medalist, and winner of five Grand Prix events. Overall, Wagner has been on the podium 38 times in national and international competitions and is still one of the top ranked figure skaters in the world.
BRIAN BOITANO (Olympic Ice)
Brian Boitano is a three-time Olympian, author, television host and Prime-time Emmy winner. In figure skating, Boitano holds over 50 titles including four national titles, and two world titles, as well as the Olympic gold medal. He is a member of the U.S. Olympic, World and U.S. Figure Skating Halls of Fame. The multi-talented Boitano has produced 30 TV shows, starred in his own cooking show on Food Network, What Would Brian Boitano Make? and in HGTV's The Boitano Project.
SCOTT HAMILTON (Olympic Ice)
Scott Hamilton is an Olympic Champion, cancer survivor, television broadcaster, motivational speaker and author. During his figure skating career, Hamilton's list of achievements includes his Olympic gold medal, over 70 titles, awards, and honors. In 1990, Hamilton was inducted into the United States Olympic Hall of Fame and in that same year, he became a member of the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame. Hamilton is the founder of the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation (Cancer Alliance for Research, Education and Survivorship) and the Scott Hamilton Skating Academy, in partnership with the NHL's Nashville Predators, at Ford Ice Centers in Antioch and Bellevue, TN, to offer students programs to help them fall in love with ice skating.
ADNAN VIRK (Winter Gold)
Adnan Virk is a Canadian Sports Broadcaster who spent nine years of his career at ESPN. Adnan recently joined Meadowlark Media as a regular contributor. Adnan's lengthy sports career also included stints at Canada's TSN, and more recently, DAZN, MLB Network and NHL Network. Virk also hosts the weekly Cinephile podcast. At MLB Network, Virk is a studio host, appearing across MLB Network's programming, including MLB Tonight, MLB Network's Emmy Award-winning flagship studio show and Rundown, which airs every weekday. Prior to joining MLB Network, Virk worked at ESPN as a studio host for Baseball Tonight, SportsCenter, and Outside the Lines.
The Olympic Show is a live studio show that will highlight the biggest, must-see moments, athlete interview and previews of upcoming events.
