He added, "Ripley won't be a part of it or any of the other characters of Alien other than the alien itself." Five scripts have already been completed however Hawley will shoot season five of "Fargo" first "as it needs to go into production this winter given its Midwest setting." (Deadline.com)
ALL AMERICAN (The CW) - Christian James will recur on the series as Wade Waters, "full of East Coast privilege, Wade Waters is the arrogant but talented quarterback for GAU (Golden Angeles University). (Deadline.com)

PLAYERS (Paramount+) - Moses Storm will recur on the upcoming esports series as Guru: "A former member of the team who transitioned to streaming instead, Guru is a brash, showboating "bro" type, with swagger and arrogance to spare. When defeated at a game over and over again, Guru absolutely loses it. As the team experiences hardships, he gleefully watches from afar." (Deadline.com)
REGINALD THE VAMPIRE (Syfy) - Sean Yves Lessard has scored a role on the series as Lebron: "Immaculately dressed, this vampire is someone you don't want to mess with as he delivers a message on behalf of his terrifying boss." (Deadline.com)
TOM SWIFT (The CW) - Marquise Vilsón, April Parker Jones and Albert Mwangi will round out the cast of the "Nancy Drew" spin-off series. Vilsón will play Isaac Vega, "Tom's bodyguard - trans, pansexual and a consummate badass. His simmering feelings for Tom will never get in the way of his duty and loyalty." Jones will portray Lorraine Swift, "Tom's mother. Debutante royalty with a kind heart. Her relationship with Tom is close and loving until the aftermath of his father's disappearance begins to drive a wedge between them." And Mwangi is Rowan, "a member of the security detail for a Congressman in Tom's orbit, Rowan's steely demeanor hides his mysterious past - and his star-crossed interest in Tom." (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED MATTHEW WEINER PROJECT (FX) - The cable channel is not moving forward with the proposed half-hour dramedy from Matthew Weiner. No plot details were ever released about the project. (THR.com)
YOU (Netflix) - Lukas Gage has joined the cast of the show's fourth season as Adam, "an ex-pat American, the youngest son of a wealthy East-Coast magnate. He's famous for spectacularly failing to meet the standards of his successful, venerable family. An entrepreneur and a gambler, Adam is a warm and funny party host and fast friend. But underneath, Adam is hiding a trove of secrets and papering over problems with heavy self-medication. Determined to prove himself, Adam's taking big, risky swings, living by the truism that a good businessman does absolutely anything he can get away with. Does he love his wealthy, titled girlfriend, or is he using her? There's no doubt he's manipulating his friends; the only question is how far he'd go..." (Deadline.com)
