LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- FOX has canceled its freshman comedy "Pivoting" and drama "Our Kind of People," a network spokesperson has confirmed.
The news marks the first in a wave of expected decisions about its scripted roster.
Still up in the air are the fates of dramas "9-1-1," "9-1-1: Lone Star" and "The Resident" as well as comedies "Call Me Kat" and "Welcome to Flatch."
The network previously renewed its animated roster - "The Simpsons," "The Great North," "Bob's Burgers," "Family Guy" and "HouseBroken" - with "Duncanville" returning earlier this month. Also due back in newcomer "The Cleaning Lady," which was renewed in April, while "Fantasy Island" returns this summer.
FOX previously pulled the plug on "The Big Leap" in March.
As for new series, already on tap are dramas "Accused" and "Monarch" (held back from a January start) as well as its latest animated entry "Krapopolis."
