New York, NY - July 26, 2022 - Former The Daily Show with Jon Stewart executive producer Josh Lieb has been tapped as EP for Comedy Central's Hell Of A Week with Charlamagne Tha God, which is set to premiere this Thursday, July 28th at 11:30 PM ET/PT. The Emmy award-winning producer who also was showrunner for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon returns to Comedy Central joining an all-star team of executive producers including Lenard "Charlamagne" McKelvey, Stephen Colbert, showrunner Rachael Edwards, Aaron McGruder, Karen Kinney, James Dixon and Norm Aladjem. Lieb, who also hails from South Carolina like Charlamagne and Colbert, will lead the creative team for the weekly half-hour late-night series.

Executive produced by Stephen Colbert and Charlamagne, Comedy Central's Hell of A Week with Charlamagne Tha God will feature unlikely pairings of comedians, outspoken celebrities, and thought-leaders across the political spectrum to debate the current events permeating politics and culture with influential guests unpacking the stories blazing the headlines.

Lieb won a PGA Award as showrunner for the first three seasons of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon following his time as executive producer and writer on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, for which he earned seven Emmys, two Peabody Awards and a WGA Award. His other work as writer-producer includes What We Do in the Shadows, Who is America?, Silicon Valley, Pod Save America, The Simpsons, NewsRadio, and more. He is a published author as well, with young adult novel, "I Am A Genius of Unspeakable Evil and I Want to Be Your Class President," a New York Times bestseller. Other works include Arthurian legend recast with rodents, "Ratscalibur"; and, a Grammy Award winner, "EARTH: The Book". His latest book, "The Monster on the Bus," was released on July 5th.
