Lifetime keeps everyone on their toes this September with The Bad Seed Returns premiering on Labor Day, Monday, September 5th, then new movies every Saturday, inspired by true stories! Tackling a horrific Ripped from the Headlines story of parents who keep their six kids locked up in their home in House of Chains debuting on September 10th. As the month continues, Girl in Room 13 debuts September 17th, as the power story of a mother searching for her daughter who is being human trafficked. Dying for a Crown closes out the month on September 24th and is the story of a girl willing to do anything for popularity.

THE BAD SEED RETURNS

LABOR DAY - SEPTEMBER 5TH AT 8/7C
After the murderous events that left her father (Rob Lowe) dead, 15-year-old Emma, a seemingly typical teenaged girl, is now living with aunt Angela (Michelle Morgan) and navigating high school. But the darkness can only be hidden for so long, especially when Angela's husband Robert (Benjamin Ayers) begins to suspect Emma may not be as innocent as she appears, and a new girl at school, Kat (Ella Dixon), seems to know Emma's secrets from the past. Left with no choice, Emma slips back to her old ways to take care of her enemies by any means necessary.
Patty McCormack, who earned an Academy Award and Golden Globe nomination from the 1956 version of The Bad Seed reprises her role as Emma's therapist Dr. March.
The Bad Seed Returns is produced for Lifetime by The Wolper Organization, Horizon Scripted Television Inc. and Front Street Productions. Mark Wolper serves as executive producer along with Mckenna Grace, Ross Burge, Crystal Burge and Barbara Marshall. Louise Archambault directed from a script written by Mckenna Grace, Ross Burge and Barbara Marshall.
The Bad Seed was based on the novel of the same name by William March and the play by Maxwell Anderson.
HOUSE OF CHAINS

House of Chains tells the story of a seemingly normal, suburban family whose dark secrets remained hidden for years. Following their own set of strict religious beliefs, parents Laura (Suvari) and Tye (Holt) keep their six children separated from the outside world. As the children grow older and begin to ask questions Laura and Tye's authoritarian ways grow stronger leading them down a path of child abuse, neglect and imprisonment. In order to keep their younger siblings safe and to free themselves from the shackles their parents have created the older children band together and risk a harrowing escape to alert authorities and save their family.
House of Chains is Executive Produced by Larry Grimaldi, Hannah Pillemer, and Fernando Szew for MarVista Entertainment (MVE) in association with executive producers Arnie Zipursky and Bonnie Zipursky at Neshama Entertainment. Adam Shepard (MVE) serves as co-executive Producer. Stephen Tolkin writes and directs.

Inspired by actual events, Girl in Room 13 examines the story of Grace (Dias), who was addicted to opioids after her doctor prescribed them for a sports injury at a very young age and after three stints in rehab, she is finally ready to turn her life around. Under the watchful eye of her mother, Janie (Heche), Grace takes on a job at her family's restaurant. But her past will not let her go and when her friend coerces her into meeting her former love interest and drug dealer, Richie (Montesi), she finds herself imprisoned in a motel room with no way out. Held captive, Richie repeatedly violates Grace, forces her to consume drugs and alcohol, and starves her -- all to break her down so that she becomes compliant and can be sold into human trafficking. Refusing to give up on her daughter even when her husband and the local police believe Grace has returned to a life of using, Janie starts an all-out hunt to find Grace. Stopping at nothing, Janie discovers the dark world of human trafficking and the shocking statistics about its widespread victims and its unexpected accomplices.
Girl in Room 13 is produced for by Motel Productions Inc for Lifetime. Tim Johnson, Stacy Mandelberg and Yvonne Chotzen serve as executive producers. The film is written by Maria Nation and is directed by Elisabeth Rohm.
DYING FOR A CROWN
Starring Jennifer Titus and Catherine Daddario
SEPTEMBER 24TH AT 8/7C
Inspired by true events. Lydia Campbell (Jennifer Titus) and her daughter Elle (Catherine Daddario) have just relocated to Florida from Los Angeles under mysterious circumstances. Lydia is the new Assistant Principal at Bellview High where Elle is a senior. Being new to town, both are looking to live a better life and will do anything to achieve it. As prom season begins, with Lydia by her side, Elle stops at nothing to gain popularity and become homecoming queen.
