GLAMOROUS (Netflix) - Nicole Power has been cast in the Kim Cattrall/Miss Benny-led series as Mykynnleigh, "a seemingly guileless corporate consultant who rolls into town to help make a business deal happen. Although she seems wholesome and unsophisticated, those appearances are deceiving as Mykynnleigh possesses a lot of backbone and business acumen." (Variety.com)
LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME (NBC) - Sean Jablonski has been tapped as the new showrunner of the spin-off series. He replaces Bryan Goluboff, who in turn succeeded Barry O'Brien earlier this year. No reason was given for the change. (Deadline.com)
SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE (NBC) - Alex Moffat, Melissa Villaseñor and Aristotle Athari are not returning for the show's 48th season. Their departure follows the exits of Kate McKinnon, Aidy Bryant, Kyle Mooney and Pete Davidson earlier this year. (Deadline.com)
SWAGGER (Apple TV+) - Vinessa Shaw has signed onto the show's sophomore run as Diane, "the Chairwoman of the Cedar Cove Prep School Board and also the mother of one of the school's basketball players who is very invested in her son's performance on the court." (Variety.com)
VANISHING TRIANGLE, THE (Sundance Now, New!) - Allen Leech and India Mullen will star in a six-part drama for the streaming service "inspired on true events that shook Ireland in the 1990s, when several women disappeared. While the characters and events in the series are fictional, the producers have spoken to several of the real life victims' families, and hope the show will keep their stories in the Irish public's mind." Mullen will star as reporter Lisa Wallace, "working in the face of prejudice and police incompetence to investigate the mysterious murder of her own mother nearly 20 years earlier"; while Leech is set as David Burke, "a detective helping with her case, but whose struggles with his sexuality are a constant burden." Alon Aranya, AnneMarie Naughton, Ana Habajec, Patrick Irwin, Adam Barth and Lucy Roberts are the executive producers for Park Films, Paper Plane Productions and 87 Films. Rebecca Johnson will direct from scripts by creator Ivan Kavanagh, Sally Tatchell and Rachel Anthony. (Deadline.com)
WINCHESTERS, THE (The CW) - Bridget Regan will recur on the newcomer as "honey-voiced pirate radio DJ, Rockin' Roxy [who] is hijacking the airwaves of Lawrence, Kansas to broadcast a wicked new sound. Behind the mic, she's got an electric charm and a rapidly growing fanbase. But as our heroes will sadly learn, Roxy's listeners aren't all of the human variety." (TheWrap.com)
WORST HOUSE ON THE BLOCK (ABC, New!) - Writer Niki Schwartz-Wright and director Natalia Anderson are set to team for a new single-camera comedy at the Alphabet in which "when a poor family from South Texas inherits the worst house on the block in a chic LA neighborhood, they cause quite a stir amongst their new neighbors. Tensions may flare, but ultimately, we'll watch as three different families, with nothing in common but their zip code and how overwhelmed they feel by the sheer number of Love Island episodes there are to watch, start to find common ground and slowly-but-surely, friendship." 3 Arts Entertainment's Oly Obst will also executive produce for 20th Television. (Deadline.com)
